McCREADIE, Andrew Laurie -- After a valiant battle with cancer, passed away peacefully in his sleep November 18, 2002. Drew, as he is known to his family and Friends, is survived by his darling and devoted wife Margot, his children Lesley and Christopher (Jane), and father Andrew of Ayr, Scotland. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sister and many Friends and relatives back home. Lesley and Christopher are especially grateful to Margot for selflessly taking such great care of their father. Drew was the very special stepfather and Papa to Jeanne and Keith (Kelly and Gregory), Steve and Laurie (Tracey and Ian), and Neil and Ali. He was also the special godfather and ''Uncle Drew'' to Michelle and Ryan. The family send many thanks to the staff at Bridgepoint Health Centre and especially Anna O'ROURKE for singing his favourite songs. A service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2002 at 2 p.m. at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A. W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Ave. (south of Eglinton) followed by a Celebration of Drew's life at the Rose and Crown Pub, 2335 Yonge St. (north of Eglinton). For those who wish, donations to a Cancer or Christmas charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
