McCORD, James -- Peacefully at Peel Memorial Hospital on Thursday, November 14, 2002. James, in his 87th year, beloved husband of the late Mary. Loving father to James of Etobicoke and Robert of St. Catharines. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and Friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home ''Brampton Chapel'', 52 Main St. S. (Hwy. 10), Brampton from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Service in the chapel on Monday morning at 11 o'clock. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Marvin McCORMICK
Surrounded by his family, after a long and courageous battle, Marvin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at the Sault Area Hospital in his 57th year. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife and best friend Angela (BRUNO.) son of the late Edith and Arden McCORMICK. Step-son of Al BUDGE. Dear brother of James (Lois,) twin sister Marlene LEWIS (Ken) all of Manitoulin Island. Dorothy GENO (Roger) of Sudbury and Eddie BUDGE (Cathy) of Saint Thomas. Special nephew of Clarence MORRISON and the late Verna MORRISON and dear cousin of Ginger MORRISON all of Manitoulin Island. Son-in-law of Giuseppe and Erminia BRUNO. Brother-in-law of August and Anna BOSSIO, Fernando and Maria SPINA and Peter and Anna BRUNO all of Sault Ste. Marie. Marvin will be missed by all of his family and Friends. Friends called the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road) on Friday, June 21, 2002. Funeral Mass was conducted at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Saturday June 22 at 10: 00 a.m. with Reverend James KETZLER officiating. Entombment at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Heartfelt thanks to all of the doctors and nurses of the Sault Area Hospital, Mount Sinai and the Toronto General for the special care given to Marvin.

YAP SAM, Bernard Karl -- It is with great sadness the YAP SAM family annouunces the passing of Bernard at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 9, 2002. Bernard was born on August 20, 1936 in Kingston, Jamaica. Beloved husband of Chui Man Kuin (Angela). Loving father of Bernadette (Kirk DONALDSON), Dominic, Robert (Sharon), Karl and Nelson. Cherished grandfather of Erika, Bradley, Ryan and Sam. Dear brother of Stanley, Cecil, Cissy Chin You, Louise TAI, Joyce LUCK, Elsie JONES, Annie McCORMICK and Phillip CLIVE. Bernard is predeceased by sisters Cynthia and Phyllis (Hew) and brothers Ferdinand and Yu-Chang. Beloved husband of more than 50 years of Dorothy E. McCORMICK (BISHOP.) Dear father to Lynn and her husband Eugene, Lesley and her husband John, and Peter and his wife Carole. Will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Katie, Libby, Erin, Sara and Sam. Survived by his brother Ted McCORMICK and sister Eleanor MONTGOMERY. Predeceased by brothers Empson and Robert McCORMICK. Longtime member of Mississaugua Golf and Country Club.
