DEMERS, Kathleen Etta (née GOVIER) -- On Sunday, November 10, 2002, at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Rene DEMERS. Dearly loved mother of Marilyn DUNN and Jean McCOMB. Loving grandmother to Kim DAMIANI, Cheryl McCOMB, Leanne DUNN, Stephen DUNN and Lance McCOMB. Great-grandmother of Ashley, Joey, Krista, Sarah DAMIANI and Jeridon DUNN. Friends will be received at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Homes Ltd., 63 Mimico Ave., Etobicoke on Wednesday from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday, 11 a.m. in St. George's-on-the-Hill Anglican Church, 4600 Dundas St. West, Islington followed by entombment in Glendale Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Rexdale. If desired, a memorial contribution to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

McCOMB, Margaret Elizabeth (née THORNBOROUGH) -- On Saturday, November 16, 2002, at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack McCOMB. Dearly loved mother of Neil McCOMB and wife ELAINE, Rickey McCOMB and wife Corrine, David McCOMB and wife Sherry and the late Gary McCOMB and his wife Jeanne. Loved grandmother of ten and great-grandmother of seven. Dear aunt of Betty KILLIN and her daughters Sandra and Dianne. Lovingly remembered especially by Meghan and Kira. Friends will be received at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Homes Ltd. 63 Mimico Ave., Etobicoke from Tueday 12 noon until time of service in the Chapel Tuesday 2 p.m., followed by cremation. KARN, Elsie -- At Oxford Regional Retirement Home, Ingersoll on Thursday November 21, 2002. Elsie R.E. KARN (née EARLE,) formerly of Woodstock in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd W. KARN (1989.) Dear mother of Willard KARN and his wife Pat of Tillsonburg and Elizabeth HATTER and her husband Ray of Whitby. Loved grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by her Friends Jill SMITH, Prudence RUCKLE and Mabel CUTHBERT. Predeceased by her daughter Grace KARN (1950,) son, Donald KARN (1997,) sisters Eileen HUBNER, Sophia LUDINGTON, Alice McROBERTS, Violet SCHERLE and brothers Robert, Samuel, Edward, Allan, Bill and Bert. Elsie was born in Wexford, Ireland in 1908 and immigrated to Canada 14 years later where she met Lloyd and married in 1928. Elsie helped to farm at the family homestead for many years on Bowerhill Road, now known as Karn Road in Woodstock. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Saturday at 1: 30 pm with Reverend Roger McCOMBE officiating.
