In loving memory of Barbara M. GUY CLEARY who passed away peacefully at Manitoulin Health Centre on Wednesday August 28, 2002 at the age of 81 years.
Survived by husband Kieran, predeceased by husband Ernest GUY.
Cherished by daughters Norma and Gordon KILFILLEN of Chipman, NB, Ruth & Dow MacKAY of Fredericton, NB, June CLARK of Fredericton, NB, and son Rudy ROSENGREN of Mississauga, Ont. Loved by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Barbara was the daughter of the late George and Lena HARVIE of Nash Creek, Restugouche Co., NB, Born May 14, 1921.
Remembered by siblings: Murial and husband Sidney Pickle, Viola Dryden, Robert Harvie, Murray and Emmaline Harvie, Jack Harvey, Donald Harvey, Lloyd Harvey, Marjorie MacAllister, Shirley LaPointe, Helen Killoran. Predeceased by Daisy, Hazel, Leonard, Arnold and Delbert. Friends gathered on Friday, August 30, 2002 Funeral Service was held Saturday August 31, 2002 at Island Funeral Home. Burial in Hilly Grove Cemetery, Manitowaning. Donations to Northern Cancer Research would be appreciated.

Ruby Mae COULTIS
In loving memory of Ruby Mae COULTIS a resident of Tehkummah and for the last three years, Wikwemikong Nursing Home, at Wikwemikong Nursing Home on Tuesday October 22, 2002 in her 95th year.
Ruby taught school for many years and helped run the family farm.
She was always very active in her community, serving on different committees. She loved bingo and a good game of euchre. Ruby had many talents, knitting, sewing, gardening, teaching, crocheting and creating poetry are just a few. Many Friends and memories were made throughout the years and many are captured, forever in her poetry.
Predeceased by her cherished husband Wilfred COULTIS. Loved by her children Corrine GILL (Art predeceased) of Sarnia and Tehkummah, Willard John 'Don' and Marlene of Owen Sound. Will be forever remembered by grandchildren Rob GILL (Jodie), Wendy and Ed TAILOR/TAYLOR, Joanne WELSH (Robert predeceased,) Cynthia COULTIS, Clark COULTIS, great grandchildren Melissa (Cloud McCALLUM,) Holly TAILOR/TAYLOR, Michael TAILOR/TAYLOR, Jessica COULTIS, Amanda COULTIS, Jody ROSS- BECK (Kelly), Jeffery McKAY, Bob McKAY and great great grandchildren Hailee BECK, Zoe McCALLUM, Gage COULTIS, and Tyrone McKAY. WOODWARD, Frederick Preston ''Pres'' -- Age 94 years, a resident of suite 317-63 Carrie Street, passed away unexpectedly in the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital, Port Arthur Site, on Thursday, November 21, 2002. Born April 17, 1908 in Toronto, Ontario, Pres resided there for 27 years. He received his education at Riverdale Collegiate Institute, Toronto Normal School and the University of Toronto. He married Eugenia (Jean) CLINTON in 1936 and moved to Port Arthur. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church and St. Paul's Couples' Club. A member of the Superannuated Teachers' Association of Ontario from 1973 until 1989, the Port Arthur Curling and Athletic Club and was an Executive Member of Go-Slo Curling Club from 1980 until 1982. Pres was also a member of the Seniors' Club of P.R. Cook Apartments, St. Joseph's Heritage. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Maureen NOPONEN (Hannu,) Thunder Bay, granddaughter Patricia TAPIO and her daughters Tammy and Linneau, grand_son Michael McKAY, Thunder Bay, and nephew David WOODWARD, Burlington, Ontario and the Noponen Family. Predeceased by his wife Eugenia (Jean) on December 25th, 1997, son Donald in 1995 and his parents Frederick and Charlotte WOODWARD. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 26th at 11: 00 a.m. in St. Paul's United Church, Waverley Street, conducted by Rev. Lloyd IVANY. MacKAY, Edith Isabel -- Passed away on the 25th of December, 2002. Daughter of the late Donald MacKAY and his wife Alice PRIOR. Predeceased by sisters Alice MacKay HALFPENNY and Merle Sutherland MacKAY. Sadly missed by her Friends: Mary CUNNINGHAM, Robert DAVIS, Frank GABOUREL, and many others. Edith was a longtime employee of Halifax Insurance. She was a member of St. Columba United Church on Vaughan and St. Clair (now part of St. Matthew's United Church). She was one of the first women in the United Church to qualify and a supervisor for ministerial formation. Much of her early life was devoted to the Canadian Girls In Training and she was loved by many young women whose lives she touched.
