WONNACOTT
In loving memory of a dear wife, mother and grandmother, Betty WONNACOTT, who passed away 15 years ago, December 25, 1987.
Christmas recalls sad memories,
Of a loved one gone to rest,
The call was sudden, the shock severe,
To part with one we loved so dear.
You suffered much in silence,
Your spirit did not bend,
You faced your pain with courage,
Until the very end.
We don't know why you had to go,
The reason isn't clear,
Especially when you're loved so much,
And we still need you here.
Some people say as time goes by,
The heartache will subside,
But the feelings in our hearts today,
Are the same as the day you died.
Sadly missed by Jack and family.
