BEATON, David Malcolm
At Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, September 19, 2002, at the age of 68. David is the loving husband of Joan (MURISON;) cherished brother of Marian and Bill BIEMAN brother-in-law of Evelyn WILSON, Pearl and Ted SMITH, Vivian GALLO, Marie MARTIN; and "little brother" of Marion Hannah and Gwen Wharram. He is also a dear uncle of Peter and Leslie BIEMAN, David BIEMAN, Lynda and Peter DUCKWORTH, Wayne and Aiko MURPHY, Bonnie WINCHESTER, Tim and Carole MARTIN, Gaye and Marty DUNLOP, Scott and Anna MARTIN, and Heidi McCRON. David loves his many great-nieces and nephews as he also mutually loved his music students during his 25 years at North Toronto Collegiate. Even as a teenage organist, David served his Lord through the ministry of music. Just this week we discussed the idea that "life is like music - some high notes and some low notes, but a wonderful song none the less." David and Joan thank their many caring Friends at East York Community Care Access Centre and at Sunnybrook. The family will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (South of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, September 22. Service to be held at Trinity United Church, 461 Park Avenue (at Main Street), Newmarket on Monday, September 23 at 11 o'clock. Interment to follow at Markdale Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 20 Holly Street, Suite 101, Toronto M4S 3B1, or Sleeping Children Around the World, 28 Pinehurst Crescent, Toronto M9A 3A5, would be appreciated by David's family.
