BIDEN, Edward James (Ted) -- Surrounded by family and Friends passed away peacefully December 24, 2002 in his 54th year. son of the late James and Ada BIDEN. Loving brother to Shirley and brother-in-law David AVERY, uncle to Debra and Dave BRAZEAU, Scott BIDEN and Darnelly VALENCIA and Jeremy-James BIDEN. Great-uncle to Kyle BIDEN, Ethan and Lynnae BRAZEAU. Born and raised in Toronto, Ted graduated from the University of Toronto. He was owner of J.E. Climax Plating Company Limited, and recently worked for T. Martel Real Estate Limited and Bosley Real Estate. Friends and family will be received at the Giffen-Mack ''Danforth'' Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main subway), Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Interment at Salem Cemetery. A Celebration of Ted's life is to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations to Casey House or the A.I.D.S. Committee of Toronto would be appreciated.

VALENTE, Mario -- Suddenly on the 15th of December 2002 at the age of 49, beloved husband of Laura with whom he shared 24 joyous years, most adored father of Amanda and Alessandro, will be deeply missed by his family, father Francesco, brothers Antonio and Domenico and sisters-in-law Grace, Maria and Fay and brothers-in-law Diego and Michael. Loving son-in-law of Norma and Odo and uncle to his nephew Franco and nieces Pamela, Nadia and Sara. Predeceased by his mother Palma. Mario will be sadly missed by all his Friends. Mario will always be remembered for his devotion to his family and passion for life. Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home ''Brampton Chapel'' 289 Main St. N., (Hwy. 10) Brampton 905-451-1100 on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 at St. Jerome's Catholic Church, 8530 Chinguacousy Road, (north of Steeles) at 9: 30 a.m. As an expression sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. In loving memory of Claudine Fern VALIQUETTE, peacefully at Manitoulin Health Centre on Saturday, March 9, 2002 at the age of 85 years. Born January 19, 1917 to Jim and Ettie PHILLIPS. Predeceased by husband Frank. Loved by children Lenora TOOLEY (husband Baden predeceased) of Espanola, Frank (wife Nancy predeceased) of Sudbury, Anita LOCKEYER (husband Orval,) Brenda MORPHET (husband Harold,) Michael (wife Lyn) and Zann, all of Little Current. Brought joy by grandchildren Lori, Lynn, Kelly, Greg, Tim, Melanie and Marsha. Will be missed by great grandchildren Baden John, Kari,Kyle, Justin, Devin, Adam and Hannah. Survived by sister Nedra and husband George DILLULO of Sudbury and brother Elmer and wife Pearl of Hull, QC. Visitation was held on Monday at the Island Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Little Current on Tuesday March 12, 2002. Cremation.
