OAKE, Cleo Laura Evelyn (née OLIPHANT) -- Peacefully, at Etobicoke General Hospital on Sunday, November 10th, 2002 in her 87th year. Wife of the late Harvey OAKE. Predeceased by her parents William and Mae OLIPHANT, sister Helen QUIRT, brother-in-law Chesney QUIRT and brother Ross OLIPHANT. Survived by her brother Leonard OLIPHANT and his wife Muriel (Sault Ste. Marie) and sister-in-law Sandy OLIPHANT (Peterborough.) Fondly remembered as a special aunt to her nieces and nephews, Ian QUIRT, Bill OLIPHANT, Susan O'ROURKE, Leslie OLIPHANT, Robert OLIPHANT, Barbara CONNELL, Mary TUCK and their families. Funeral service at Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Avenue West (2 lights west of Yonge St.) Wednesday, November 13th at 10: 30 a.m. followed by a reception. Interment in the Strong Cemetery, Sundridge, Ontario. The family thanks the Community Care Access Centre of Peel, the Victorian Order of Nurses, Care Partners nurses and Dr. Vincent MAIDA and the Palliative Care Unit of Etobicoke General Hospital. TUCKER, Alexander Roland -- Passed away peacefully at Lisaard House Cambridge on Sunday, November 17, 2002 in his 83rd year. Loving husband of Marg Hosken for 62 years. Dear father of Brian and his wife Lorna of Norwich, Beverley FRAZER and her husband Garry of Cambridge. Grandfather of Darrell and his wife Rae-Anne and Brad and his fianc‚e Shelby. Mr. Tucker was predeceased by his parents William and Renne TUCKER, 4 brothers and 1 sister. He was born in Toronto April 13, 1920 and has been a resident of Cambridge since 1955, a retired employee of Eastern Steel Products Ltd., and a member of Branch 272 Royal Canadian Legion, Hespeler. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements by Barthel Funeral Home, 519-653-3251. Donations to Lisaard House, 990 Speedsville Rd., Cambridge, N3H 4R6 would be appreciated by the family.

TUCKER, Minnie -- (Of Brooklin, Ontario) On Saturday, December 14, 2002 in her 72nd year. Predeceased by her husband Cecil Walter. Mother to Marilyn and her husband John METCALFE, and Maxine TUCKER and her husband Graham MUSTARD. Grandmother to Neill and spouse Rachel, Keirra, Edward and spouse Keri, David, and Sarah. Great-grandmother to Desree and Brayden. Survived by her brother Herbert DYSON and sister Violet GRAVES of England. Sadly missed by her relatives in England and Canada from the DYSON, GRAVES, HALL, LILLIE and TUCKER families. The family will receive Friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax (Pickering Village) 905-428-8488 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and on Friday, December 20, 2002 at St. George's Anglican Church, Randall Dr. and Kingston Rd., Ajax, from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment in Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa. TUCKER, Earlston Howard -- Peacefully after a short illness, on Saturday, December 14, 2002 at the Toronto Western Hospital. He leaves behind his loving wife Coral TUCKER after 49 years of marriage. Dedicated father to Brian and Keith and father-in-law to Avis and Charissa. Adoring Grandad to Sereena and Denzel. Earl will be sadly missed by his brother Clyde (Aleathea) and his sister Betty (Leonard BUTTERFIELD.) Earl leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Bermuda and the United States. He was actively involved and held leadership roles in the community through participation in the Scouts Canada Bendale No. 14, Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge No. 1600, East York Kinsman Club, Masons St. Andrew Lodge No. 28, the Bermudian - Canadian Association, and the Barbadian - Canadian Association. His good sense of humour and laughter will be missed. Friends and family will be received at the Giffen-Mack ''Danforth'' Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main subway) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service will be held on Friday morning at 11 a.m. at Churchill Heights Baptist Church, 7601 Sheppard Ave. East (at Morningside). Interment Pine Hills Cemetery.
