TRABUCCO, Alberto -- Passed away peacefully at Humber River Regional Hospital Finch Site on Sunday, December 22, 2002. Survived by his loving wife Teresa and his son Lorenzo and his daughter Anna. Grandfather of Dianna, Thomas and Adam. Resting at the Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel, 2104 Kipling Ave. (2 blocks north of Rexdale Blvd.) from Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Saturday, leaving the funeral home 9: 30 a.m. to St. Andrew's Church, 2547 Kipling Ave. for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. ''You will always be loved and missed.''

Geraldine Wilma BRYAN
In loving memory of Geraldine Wilma BRYAN, August 28, 1922-April 18, 2002.
Geraldine (DEAN) BRYAN, a resident of the Manitoulin Lodge, Gore Bay, died at the Lodge on Thursday, April 18, 2002, at the age of 79 years. She was born in Tehkummah, daughter of the late Wilmer and Emma {HANER} McCAULEY. She had worked at the smelter in Sudbury during the war, and afterwards helped her husband Norman at his service station. Geraldine spent 50 years in Sudbury before returning to the Island, then lived for 2 years with Verlie and Robert, and 3 years in her own apartment, and lastly moved to the Lodge about 1 year ago. She enjoyed dancing in her earlier years, and reading and gardening. However, her life revolved around her family. Her greatest pleasure was looking after and being part of her families' lives. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her caring and interest in her family will be missed, but will be cherished forever.
Predeceased by her loving husband Norman Phillip BRYAN on February 1, 1993. Dearly loved and loving mother of Verlie and her husband Robert McGILLIS of Mindemoya proud grandmother of Tammy and her husband Cyle RITCHIE of Cambridge and Ginger McGILLIS of Sudbury and great grandchildren Brittany McGILLIS and Zachary RITCHIE. Dear sister of Gladys CHATWELL of Kitchener and sister-in-law Elaine McCAULEY of Tehkummah. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Gerald McCAULEY and sister Marie McCAULEY.
The funeral service was conducted at the Mindemoya United Church on Saturday, April 20, 2002 with Reverend Mary Jo ECKERT TRACY officiating. Interment in Mindemoya Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Culgin Funeral Home.

Elva Lauretta McGILLIS
In loving memory of Elva Lauretta McGillis, June 16, 1914 to December 6, 2002. Lauretta McGILLIS, a resident of the Wikwemikong Nursing Home, died at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current, on Friday December 6, 2002 at the age of 88 years. She was born in Tehkummah Twp., daughter of the late George and Laura (BAXTER) VINEY. She was a member of the United Church, loved growing flowers, especially her pansies and glads, and enjoyed knitting and sewing, having made many quilts. Lauretta was a hard working farm wife and mother, and will be fondly remembered for her pride, love and enjoyment of her children and grandchildren.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Neil McGILLIS on February 26, 1993. Loving and loved mother of June LENTIR, (husband Russ HERRINGTON predeceased,) Robert and his wife Verlie McGILLIS of Mindemoya and Rick and his wife Debby McGILLIS of Trout Creek. Proud grandmother of Diane, Laura (husband George MARTIN,) Tammy (husband Cyle RITCHIE,) Patrick (friend Amy WALKER,) Ginger (husband Rick DESFORGE,) Victoria (friend Randy QUIRT) and great grandchildren George, Jennifer, Logan, Brittany, Zachary, Gavin and Samantha. Dear sister of Harry VINEY (wife Margaret predeceased,) Charlie (Lillian) VINEY, Glen (Margaret) VINEY, Joyce (Howard) HOLMES, Gladys, predeceased, husband Harry JAGGARD, Ruth, husband Wm. T. McCULLOUGH both predeceased and Grace, husband Carm HUNTER, both predeceased. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends called the Mindemoya United Church on Sunday December 8, 2002. The funeral service was conducted on Monday December 9, 2002 at 2: 00 p.m. with Reverend Mary Jo ECKERT TRACY officiating. Interment in Mindemoya Cemetery. Culgin Funeral Home

(War Veteran British Royal Navy, World War 2) -- Peacefully, after a lengthy illness fought with calm and dignity on Friday, November 22, 2002 at the Humber River Regional Hospital - Church Street Site. Loving husband of Mary Josephine ROONEY. Survived by his sister Veronica in Dublin, Ireland. Predeceased by his brothers David, while in combat duty and John from Yorkshire, England. Sadly missed by his many in-laws, nieces, nephews and many greats. Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston on Sunday, November 24 from 7-9 p.m. A private funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25 at 12: 30 p.m. in the Chapel.

Father and father-in-law of Linda WASERMAN and Victor SALEM, Susan TRAINOFF and Maury KLEINMAN, Sharon WASERMAN, Debra WASERMAN, David WASERMAN and Nancy TRUDEL, grandfather of Nancy (MENDELSOHN) BROWN, Jennifer MENDELSOHN, Jordana, Chelsea and Tamara WASERMAN; great grandfather of Kira BROWN. Eldest son of the late Harry and Anna GRUVICK) WASERMAN. Brother and brother-in-law of Nessie and the late Paul WASERMAN, Dora and the late Hyman WASERMAN, Nat and Phyllis WASERMAN, Ernie and Sadie WASERMAN and Ettie and Saul HERSH. TRAVERS, Ann -- Passed away suddenly on Friday, December 27, 2002 at Etobicoke General Hospital in her seventieth year. Beloved wife of the late Karl Andrew TRAVERS. Loving mother of Michelle LANCASTER and her husband Gray, Suzanne GRANT and her husband Dean, Rea BYTH and her husband Steve, Renee ZARESKI and her husband Jim, Janine TRAVERS, Niki TRAVERS and her husband Greg COPELAND. Cherished Nana of Grant, Matthew, Kelsey, Stuart, Andrew, Julie, Alexandra, Derek, Mark, Sarah, Adam, Nicole, Alison, Michelle, Graham, Jack, Jamie. Loving sister of Margaret EDGAR, and aunt to Tracey SCHINDLER and Jeff EDGAR. Ann was involved in every aspect of life including, skiing, hiking, music, theatre, sewing, doll making, smocking, golf, travel, and fitness. A good and devoted friend she brought joy to the lives of everyone around her. She will be truly missed by all who loved her. Our thanks to the staff at Etobicoke General Hospital and a special thanks to Dr. Sklar. We would like to acknowledge the love and support we received from Friends and family during Ann's illness.
