SWEATMAN, Travers -- Last week, in Edmonton, Travers SWEATMAN's compassionate heart failed. He was the son of Margaret and the late Fraser SWEATMAN, and the loving brother of Gael and Janet. His many Friends will miss him for all his acts of kindness. Funeral arrangements private. HALLAHAN, Marguerite (née SWEENEY) -- At Clinton Public Hospital on Saturday, November 9, 2002. The late Marguerite HALLAHAN (nee SWEENEY) of R.R. 3, Blyth in her 71st year. Loving wife of Bill HALLAHAN. Beloved mother of Kent and his wife Julie of Belgrave, Paul of R.R. 3, Blyth, and Christine GULUTZEN and her husband Bill of R.R. 3, Blyth. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Matthew and Stacey HALLAHAN, and Christopher GULUTZEN. Survived by her six brothers and by her four sisters. Predeceased by one sister. Marguerite was a longtime member of the St. Michael's Church Catholic Women's League, Blyth. Friends will be received at the Blyth Visitation Centre, Beattie-Falconer Funeral Homes Ltd., 407 Queen Street, Blyth, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be held at the Blyth Visitation Centre at 8: 30 p.m. on Tuesday evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Drummond Street, Blyth, on Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at 11 o'clock with Reverend Lance MADGZIAK officiating. Interment in St. Michael's Cemetery, Morris Township. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Clinton Public Hospital, or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Grandfather of Theodora JONES of Dundalk, Ontario., Thomas and Monique O'SULLIVAN. Great grandfather of Michael, Kenneth, and Lindsay. DUHAMEL, John Baptiste (Jack) -- Entered into rest suddenly at his residence in Lindsay on Friday, December 27, 2002. Jack DUHAMEL, in his 93rd year, was the beloved husband of the late Agnes LOUGHEED. Beloved step-father of the late Isabelle DUHAMEL, the late Robert WILSON and the late Eleanor SWEENIE. Dear father-in-law of Audrey WILSON of Toronto. Beloved grandfather of Dianne and her husband David HUTTON of Alliston, Allan DUHAMEL of Los Angeles, Bonnie DUHAMEL of Brantford, Donna DUHAMEL of San Francisco, Wendy HOGAN of Pickering, Stephen WILSON of Toronto, Deborah and her husband Michael KALTENHAUSER of Toronto, Michael SWEENIE of Toronto and Marla and her husband Tony ROBERTS of Creemore. Lovingly remembered by his great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Beloved husband of 60 years to Sheila (nee DELACY.) Loving father of John (his wife Judith) of Port Elgin, Ontario. Proud grandfather of Janet, Brian (his wife Kirsten) and Steven. Predeceased by his sister Irene SWEET of Aylmer. Uncle of Charles SWEET. Jack was a former teacher at North Toronto and Oakwood Collegiates and Vice Principal at Parkdale Collegiate. Former Master of Huron-Bruce Masonic Temple. Active in Yorkminster Park Baptist Church, Toronto. The family would like to thank the staff of Christie Gardens for the many years of care and support.
