SHIGWADJA at the age of 73 years, Friday morning, July 12, 2002 at Mindemoya Hospital.
Beloved husband of Margaret. Loving father of Elizabeth (husband Wayne), Joe
Alex, Dorothy (friend Victor), Edward, Harold, Fred (friend Dolores), Debbie
Ann (husband James), Glenda (friend Wilfred), Mark (friend Michelle) and
Kenneth. Cherished grandfather of Raymond, Cody, Shawn, Petrina, Cory,
Drew, Alex, Rosemary, Heidi, Jamie, Sheldon, Sophie, Nimkeehns, Cameron,
Hunter, Cindy, Jenny, Blossom and Dylan. Dear godfather of Sharon,
Jeanette, Jean, Nyra, Trisha, Bill and Nimkeehns. Dear brother of Jacob and
Marie ROY both of Wikwemikong. Predeceased by Mike, Andrew, Francis,
Yvonne, Elizabeth and Alex. Sadly missed by his dog Bebe. Emerick was
ordained as a Deacon, June 20, 1987. He dedicated his life to serving his
people, anointing the sick and dead, and whom ever needed to pray.Resting at
the Pontiac School. Funeral mass was held in the Holy Cross Mission, in
Wikwemikong, Tuesday, July 16, 2002 at 11 a.m.
Interment in Wikwemikong. Arrangement entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
