CHARD, Thomas L. -- Passed away at his home in Alliston, Ontario on Monday, December 30, 2002 in his 96th year. Formerly of Islington, retired Conductor Canadian National Railway. Beloved husband of Bertha SEMPLE. Loved father of Elizabeth CHARD of Alliston and Patricia CHARD of Toronto. Loved Grandpa of Michael CHARD, Wanda SINCLAIR, Kerri and Sara WESTLAKE. Predeceased by his sisters Matilda BIRKETT and Elsie CHARD. Resting at the W. John Thomas Funeral Home, 244 Victoria St. E., Alliston on Thursday, January 2, 2003 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Private interment St. George's on the Hill Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario. If so desired, memorial donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind - Barrie-Muskoka Branch would be appreciated.
