Peacefully at Centennial Manor at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her dear husband Norman COLLINS (1975.) Cherished by her children Lynda and Lewis PARSONS of Ayr, Bonnie and George SANDALA of Windsor, Wayne and Vicki of Marathon, Wendy and Gerry MICHAEL of Desbarats, Erline BRUS of Mapleridge, BC, Martin of Vancouver, BC. Will be missed by grandchildren Sherri, Stacy, Norman, Dwayne, Kimberley, Tige, Amanda, Kori, Michael, Gregory, Kia, Morgan and great grandchildren Anthony, Jessica, Zachary, Quintin, Cory, Evan, Justin and Bromleigh. Predeceased by great grand_son Dustin. Loved by siblings Walter, Larry, Bernice, Thelma, Lorraine, Lois and Doreen. Predeceased by Harvey, Wilfred, George, Gordon, Cecil and Elva. Special sister-in-law to Lucy, Alice, Mabel, Dorothy, Pearl, May and Moira and brothers-in-law Richard and Clifford.
Visitation was held Sunday, September 15. The Funeral Service was held on Monday, September 16, 2002 at 2: 00 p.m. at the Island Funeral Home. Burial in Elm View Cemetery. Arrangement in care of Island Funeral Home

William BARRET CHAMBERLAIN WRIGHT
In loving memory of William BARRET CHAMBERLAIN WRIGHT, February 22, 1911 to November 4, 2002.
Bill WRIGHT, a resident of the Manitoulin Lodge, Gore Bay, died at the Lodge on Monday, November 4, 2002 at the age of 91 years. He was born in Mills Township, son of the late Walter and Minerva HORE) WRIGHT, and had lived in Mills all his life, except for the years he was overseas with the Royal Canadian Navy. He had been a resident of the Lodge for about 2 years. Bill was a very active member of Branch 514 Royal Canadian Legion, participating in many events. He had farmed in Mills as well as he had been a chef on the Great Lakes ships for many years, and finished his chef's career at Northernaire Lodge. Bill was an avid outdoorsman, and loved to hunt, fish, trap, camping with his grandchildren and attending their ball games.
Predeceased by his wife Gwenyth. Loved father of Carol and husband Bob SANDERS of Sault Ste. Marie, Ed and wife Brenda and Mike and wife Debbie of Mills, Lorrie WRIGHT of Tennessee and Sheri and husband Jimmy GOSNELL, also of Tennessee. Predeceased by daughter Nancy JERMYN in 1974. Proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Ed and Dorothy WRIGHT of Sarnia, Fannie WOODS (Stan predeceased) of Wawa, Maude BECKS (Jim predeceased) of Barrie, Mary LONG (Orv predeceased) of Toronto, Joan and Murray STEWARD/STEWART/STUART of Cornwall and Herb and Betty WRIGHT of Sudbury. Predeceased by brothers and sisters, Charlie, Walter, Herb, Louisa, Elizabeth, Alice, Robert, Margaret, Ellen and Jess.
The funeral service was conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel of the Culgin Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 6, 2002 with Mr. Erwin Thompson officiating.

MARSHALL, Alice Lillian -- Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, on Saturday, December 21, 2002, in her 89th year, Alice MARSHALL (née HAMILTON,) loving wife of the late Larry MARSHALL (1997); cherished mother of Peter and Valerie (North Vancouver), Judy and Paul SANGSTER (Brantford), Wayne and Laurie (Toronto) devoted grandmother of Scott and Heather SANGSTER, Ryan and Brenden MARSHALL; beloved sister of Dorothy and Vern SCHIER (Gads Hill,) Margaret ANDERSON (Renfrew,) Gordon and Nancy HAMILTON (Halifax, Nova Scotia); dear sister-in-law of Lew MAYHEW (Port Dover) and Jim MITCHELL (Arnprior;) also loved by many nieces and nephews. Alice grew up in the Ottawa Valley and journeyed to Toronto at the age of 18 to train as a nurse. She and Larry were married in 1943 and lived in Toronto before moving to Brantford in 1991. Alice was devoted to her family and always put them first. Her grace, kindness and gentleness will be missed by all who knew her.
