TABESH, Jessie (formerly RUDAN) -- Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a brief illness. Survived by son John, daughter Deanna, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and Friends. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. A special thanks to Jose and Cathy of Palliative Care at St. Joseph's Hospital and also to the Palliative Care staff at Grace Hospital. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. West, at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, December 28, 2002 at 1 o'clock. Interment Prospect Cemetery.

WAXER, Lise Aerinne -- Suddenly, after a brief illness, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2002, in Hartford, Connecticut., U.S.A. Beloved wife of Medardo ARIAS- SATIZABAL and much loved daughter of Diane YIP (Bernhard PAIER) and Peter WAXER (Katherine WAXER.) Sadly missed by sisters, Danielle (Stephen RUSSELL,) Meichen and Gillian, brother Matthew, and Zaidy Percy WAXER. Lovingly remembered by Aunty Barb (Jonathan RUDIN,) many aunts, uncles, cousins, and her cherished extended family and Friends. Lise, 37, a native Torontonian, was an author, musician, traveller, ethno-musicologist and, since 1997, a Professor of Music at Trinity College, Hartford, where her love of music of all cultures was a joy and inspiration to her students, colleagues, Friends and family. All who knew Lise were touched by her vibrancy, her love of life, her joy in sharing her discoveries, and her commitment and passion to the creation of a world where all cultures are equally valued and celebrated for their unique gifts. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Sunday, September 22, 2 p.m., in the Great Hall, Hart House, University of Toronto, 7 Hart House Circle. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Lise Waxer Memorial Lecture Fund, c/o Graduate Program/Music Dept., York University, Room 225, Winters College, 4700 Keele Street, Toronto, Ontario M3J 1P3.

RUDOLPH, William H. (Founder of Rudolph Industries) -- After a lengthy illness, on Friday, November 22, 2002, in Toronto in his 68th year. Loving husband of Bella for 47 years. Dear father of Linda TOMULKA and her husband Rick, Bill RUDOLPH and his wife Lynda, Tim RUDOLPH and Monica PATRIQUIN and her husband Kirk. Very proud grandfather of Laura, Mitchell, Tara, Elyssa, Haley, Madelyn, Evan, Andrew, Brittany, Courtney and Kirk. Dear brother of Gerda AUER and her husband Heinz. William was a devoted family man and his passion was spending time in Florida. Many thanks to Dr. R. UPSHUR and staff at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
