READ, Oswald ''Ossie'' -- (World War 2 Veteran.) Passed away peacefully at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, on Tuesday, December 17, 2002, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Eynswith and father of the late Gladys Ruth HURDMAN. Loving father of Sandra and her husband Ted BALL, Terry HAYNES, Susan and her husband Tamo BIANCHI. Dear brother of Emily RADFORD. He will be sadly missed by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. West, at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, December 21, 2002 at 1 p.m. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

ELLIOT/ELLIOTT, Charles Clayson -- (founder of Horizon's Plastics, Cobourg) At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, December 27, 2002. Clay ELLIOT/ELLIOTT, beloved husband of Elaine (née HELDMAN) of Cobourg. Loving father of Kathy and her husband Paul GALLAGHER of Whitby, Lynda CASEY of Cobourg and Kim and her husband Brian READ of Cobourg. Loving grandfather of Jeff, Kahley, Graham, Erin and Kate. Clay was a longtime member of the Rotary Club of Cobourg and a generous supporter of his community. SUTTON, June Rita (née STEPHEN) -- Quietly on December 30, 2002 at Scarborough General Hospital at the age of 84. Predeceased by husband Howard SUTTON, son Gary and granddaughter Angie. Forever loved by her children David (Kate) SUTTON, Rena (Brian) MANNERS, Debbie READ and Penny (John) DRAKE. Will be missed by her daughter-in-law and best friend Carol GENTILE. Will be remembered by her ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. June will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Rose BITOWICH and Dorothy STEPHEN, cousins Madeline PATTERSON and Evie GILDING, her good friend Bea HEINZ, and by her many nieces and nephews. A large piece of colour has left our lives today. We have lost our wonderful mother, our Glitter Girl. REALE, Minnie Elizabeth (Beth) -- Passed away peacefully on December 19, 2002, at the age of 82 years. Her brother Jim, her daughters Chris, Marie and Mandy, her son Rick and her grandchildren Emile, Aleisha, Gabriel, Michael and Amanda will remember Beth lovingly. Her family wishes to acknowledge her for her service to the Canadian Air Force and for her commitment and community vision of a place in society for the mentally challenged. She leaves behind a human legacy and will be greatly missed by Friends and clients of the Kettle Friendship Society.
