SMART, Hubert Hunter ''Bert'' -- On Thursday, December 26, 2002, in his 95th year. Bert, loving husband of the late Charlotte. Dear father of Tom and his wife Irene, the Reverend Charles and his wife Lynden, and Dorothy (predeceased) and her husband Kenneth RADBURN. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Catharine, Gregory, Ian, and Patricia. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Monday after 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m.

READ, Oswald ''Ossie'' -- (World War 2 Veteran.) Passed away peacefully at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, on Tuesday, December 17, 2002, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Eynswith and father of the late Gladys Ruth HURDMAN. Loving father of Sandra and her husband Ted BALL, Terry HAYNES, Susan and her husband Tamo BIANCHI. Dear brother of Emily RADFORD. He will be sadly missed by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. West, at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. LANG, Peter McAlister (Joshua Peter) -- May 21, 1947 - December 20, 2002. Suddenly at North Park Lodge in the presence of his loving wife Gloria. Survived by his step-children Geraldine GRIFFIN and Gary GRIFFIN, both of Toronto, his parents Henry M. LANG Q.C. and Helen LANG of Sault Ste. Marie, his brother Michael (Patty) of Maryland, his sisters Susan LANG (Patrick LESAGE) of Toronto and Sheila Lang RADFORD (Michael) of Mississauga and his nephews. Beloved wife of the late Richard GIBBS. Loving mother of Kimberly RADHS and her husband Jeremiah and Kyle GIBBS. Also lovingly remembered by her grand_son Jordan. Dear sister of Andrew WICKSTED and his wife Cathy of Midland and David WICKSTED and his wife Yvette of Barrie. Sadly missed by her great Friends, Ted and Joan LOCKE and Mary PUFAL and several nieces and nephews.
