POWELL, Lloyd C. -- Suddenly in Niagara Falls, Ontario on Tuesday, December 24, 2002, at the age of 55 years. Beloved husband of Claudette. Much loved father of Natasha, Lorraine, Gail and her husband Don PURCELL and Finbar. Dear grandfather to Aaron, Patrick, and Maia. Lloyd is survived by his mother Violet and predeceased by his father Roderick. Lloyd is also survived by his brothers Warren, Don and Clifton and sisters Pam, Joann, Madge, Bernice, Lorna, Carol, Paulette and Olganefe. Friends will be received at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, 905-602-1580 (Dixie Rd., 2 traffic lights south of Eglinton), on Monday, December 30 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Westminster United Church, 4094 Tomken Road (at Rathburn), Mississauga on Tuesday, December 31, 2002 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment Meadowvale Cemetery, Brampton.

PURCHASE, Gregory Richard -- Beloved husband of Dorothy Kristjanson PURCHASE, father of Caroline, Geoffrey, and Catherine, passed away peacefully at home on November 20, 2002. Gregory leaves to treasure his memory sister Helen GAYNER and brother Gerald of Ottawa, brother Ross of Englewood, Colorado, and sisters-in-law Evelyn DOWNEY and Doris KRISTJANSON of Winnipeg. Gregory received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Manitoba in 1953, and his M.B.A. from the University of Western Ontario in 1956. Gregory was an Executive with the T. Eaton Company Ltd. A Service of Remembrance and Celebration will be held at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th Street, 416-259-3705) November 26 at 2: 15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, should Friends so desire, contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Toronto. Beloved husband of 54 years to Dorothy. Loving father of Judy and her husband Dan HORTON, Jim and his wife Mary and Janice and her husband Rod McMILLAN. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Leanne, Laura, Daniel (Chappy), Kathleen (Kate), Kristian, Robert and the late James (Jimmy). Dear brother of Sharon and her husband Tony FELICE and the late Eileen PURNELL. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and Friends. You will live on in our hearts always. Margaret was a graduate of the Toronto General Hospital-1934; member of the Philanthropic Educational Opportunity Sisterhood; British Israel World Federation and Daughter of the British Empire. A service will be held in the chapel of the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. W. (2 stoplights west of Yonge Street) on Tuesday, December 17th at 1 o'clock with visiting 1 hour prior to the service.
