PACEY, Margaret Evelyn -- At Headwaters Health Care Hospital on Saturday, November 16th, 2002 in her 82nd year. Devoted wife of the late Wilson PACEY. Cherished sister of John REBURN and wife Lois, and the late George REBURN. Beloved sister-in-law of Marjorie REBURN, Lois ALLEN, and Winnifred POPE. She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews. Charitable donations may be made to the St. Paul's Anglican Church or the charity of your choice. The family will receive Friends at the Doney Funeral Home (318 Main St.), Shelburne on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment to follow at the Shelburne Cemetery.

Survived by sons Ron WHATE (Ottawa) and Terry WHATE and his wife Lois. Loving grandmother of Erica CANTELON (Jess) and Rod and great-grandmother of Jonah. Predeceased by her brother Horace POPE. In loving memory of Hilda Ethel Taylor August 18, 1916 to June 12, 2002.
Hilda TAILOR/TAYLOR, a resident of Mindemoya, died at the Mindemoya Hospital on Wednesday, June 12, 2002 at the age of 85 years. Hilda was born in Mindemoya, the daughter of Ethel Mac (LOVE) and Romaine CONLEY (predeceased). Hilda lived for 39 years in Concord, where she was employed in a flower shop. She returned to Mindemoya in 1972 where she was active in Women's Institute, United Church Women and the Mindemoya Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed crafts, knitting and crochet. Predeceased by husbands Robert LICE (1982) and Percy TAILOR/TAYLOR (1992,) stepdaughter Betty POPERY, son Robert LEECE Jr., brothers Lloyd CONLEY and Jim CONLEY and Carman CONLEY. She is survived by stepsons Jim TAILOR/TAYLOR and Greg TAILOR/TAYLOR, brothers Harvey and Russell CONLEY and sisters Effie CARLYLE, Lila MITCHELL, and Pearle SUTHERLAND. Dear grandmother of 4 step grandchildren Wayne and George PALMER, Sharon McHUGH and Frances ROBICHAUD. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

CONNELLY, Gus -- Peacefully at the Leacock Centre on Wednesday, November 20th, 2002. Gus, predeceased by wife Adele (née GREENAN,) is survived by his children Barbara McLEOD (Alan,) Karen POPOWICH (Charles), Jack and Robert as well as his grandchildren Tim, Kristin and Sarah. He will be missed by surviving brother Frank and many family and Friends. Born on a farm in Alma, Gus was a Veteran of World War 2 and retired from Canada Post. He was a founder of the Scarborough Catholic Hockey League and past president of the Stroke Recovery Association chapters in Elmvale and Orillia. Many thanks are due the caring staff at Champlain Manor, the Leacock Centre and Gus' Hope Group. Viewing will take place Thursday, November 21st, 7-9 p.m. at Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia. Also sadly missed by his relatives and Friends in Czechoslovakia. John loved his house, gardening, going for walks and remained self sufficient well into his late 90s.
