In loving memory Harold Randal ROBINSON, January 6, 1947-June 27, 2002.
The family announces with sorrow the death of Harold "Randy" ROBINSON, a resident of Tehkummah, who died at the Mindemoya Hospital on Thursday, June 27, 2002, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 55.
Randy was born in Gore Bay, the son of the late Harold and Dolly
(CORBIERRE- ARNOLD) ROBINSON. Predeceased by his stepfather Leonard ARNOLD. Randy was an accomplished gardener, artist, cook and enjoyed ice fishing and wood working. Beloved husband of Brenda (FREEMAN) ROBINSON of Tehkummah. Loving father of Janis FOSTER (Ed,) and father to stepdaughters Stephanie SHAW (Tom) and Melanie LEGGE (Kevin AELICK.) His grandchildren, Brianna, Nickolas, Cole and Anthony were a special source of pride and joy. They will miss the fun loving times with their Poppa and the mischief they seemed to find when they spent time with him. Dear brother of Debbie PARDIAC (Ray) and stepsister Lenora DUNLOP (Garfield.) He was a special nephew of Gloria CORBIERRE, Donna CORBIERRE, Lorna LITTLE, Bill and Chester ROBINSON. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral service was held from the Fairview United Church on Saturday, June 29, 2002. Interment to follow in Hilly Grove Cemetery.

PARROTT, John Edward Ross - M.D. 1915-2002 -- Passed away quietly, after a lengthy illness at his residence in Oak Ridges on November 10, 2002. son of the late Lionel and Minnie (MAJURY) PARROTT. Husband of the late Jean (née DAVIES.) A graduate of University of Toronto - Medicine 1943. Served as a Medical Officer in W.W.II, stationed Prince Rupert, Alberni Valley and Vancouver General, British Columbia. His medical career was spent in the Scarborough area and served on staff at Scarborough General Hospital for many years. Ross was president of the Toronto East Medical Association 1958/59. He was one of the original doctors forming Physicians and Surgeons Inc. in the early 50's (predecessor of Ontario Health Insurance Plan). Was a member of Kew Beach United Church, Toronto and Glen Major Church, Uxbridge where he (along with his wife) was involved in the music departments using his Associate, Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto. Retired to run a small cattle hobby farm in Uxbridge Township 1967. Volunteered as part of the Medical Team at Haliburton Scout Reserve for 14 years 1981-1995. Enjoyed greatly reading, canoeing, sailing, golf, art and antiques. Was a member of the Scarborough Model Railroad Club. Will be greatly missed by caregivers Shirley and Thomas HUNTLEY, the Fred ROBINS family of Stouffville and the Edward FOLLOWS family of Richmond Hill and Friends Anne ELLIS, Marcia STILES, and Carolynne PHILLIPS. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Christian Blind Mission, Stouffville and Bob Rumball School of the Deaf, Toronto. Alumnus of Queen's University (B.A. Arts '50) and the University of Pittsburg (M.S.W.), Ruth/Mom was a widely known respected and admired advocate for families and children throughout her career in Toronto and Midland with Children's Aid, the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry, the Family Court Court Clinic and Kinark. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Matthew, parents Dr. Rubert and Ruth STEVENS and her sister Lois. She is survived by her children Steve (wife Annie and their children Shannon and Jennifer,) daughter Beth O'DONNELL (husband Paul and their children Meggie, Ryan and Claire), and her sister Trish Stevens STACKHOUSE (husband Brock, daughters Susie (children Diana and Paul) and Wendy (husband David, children Emma and Sara). She leaves behind a lifetime of true Friends who were for her an extraordinary source of strength, comfort and joy. Friends may call at the Murray E. Newbigging Funeral Home, 733 Mt. Devoted Mom to Daniela (Michael PARTIPILO) and Tania. Loving daughter of Adolfo and Benedetta CORSETTI. Dear sister of Marianna (Tony ALONZI.) Clara will be deeply missed by her many family members and Friends.
