GRILLS, Rae -- (Retired employee Peel Memorial Hospital, Avro and Litton Systems) Peacefully, at Peel Manor, Brampton on Saturday, December 28, 2002 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Therese HEBERT and the late Annie FISHER. Loving father of Brian and his wife Ruth. Proud and loving grandfather of Colleen and her husband Michael SLATER and Steven and his wife Ursula; and great-grandfather to Sarah, Grace, Tatiana and Brenden. Sadly missed by sisters Vera JONES, Irene HORTON, Evelyn GAGNON, Shirley O'NEIL and family and Friends. Friends may call at the Ward Funeral Home, ''Brampton Chapel'', 52 Main St. S. (Hwy. 10), Brampton from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Service in the Chapel on Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock. Interment Brampton Cemetery.

GROSSI, Robert Paul -- March 30, l922 - November 20, 2002. Robert, affectionately known as Bob, was born the son of Robert Joseph GROSSI and Grace Marie PELLETTIER. Bob was raised and lived his whole life in the High Park area of Toronto. He attended St. Vincent de Paul School and St. Michael's College School. A World War II Veteran, he served in the Royal Canadian Air Force and was stationed at Watson Lake, Yukon. In 1945, he married Valerie GUERARD and they raised their seven children lovingly. Bob worked in the family property management business and ran for public office in the 196O's. His long term memberships in the Young Men's Canadian Club, Toronto Board of Trade and Argonaut Rowing Club were important to him as he was a proud Canadian and Torontonian. Bob lead a full and vibrant life. He always enjoyed his family and Friends around him and they shared his interests of golf, horses, boats, dancing, casinos and Florida vacations. Several generations of family enjoyed many summers at his cottage at Island Grove on Lake Simcoe. Many exuberant family dinners were enjoyed at the Old Mill Towers, where he lived for over 20 years. He set an example of longevity, generosity and enduring love for family and will be dearly missed. Bob passed away peacefully, only a few days after he left his home on Wednesday, November 20, 2002, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, with family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Valerie GUERARD. Loving father of Lyn (Michael COOK), Paulette (Frans ROOD), Penny, Paul (Catharine), Peter, Robbi (Carolyn), and Richard (Joanna). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jeffrey, Amy, Peter, David, Matthew, Alida, Kate, James, Paul, Jaclyn, Madelyn, Daniel, and Andrew; and by his great-grandchildren Avery and Valerie. Brother of Peter (Joan.) Devoted and loving friend of Helen O'NEILL. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, from 1-9 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3055 Bloor Street West (west of Royal York Road), on Monday, November 25 at 10: 30 am. Interment Saint Mary's Cemetery, Mississauga. If desired, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

HOWE, Robert Gordon -- 1942-2002. On Saturday November 16, 2002, at William Osler Health Care Centre, Brampton Campus, in his 60th year, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents Gordon Stanley HOWE, Norma HOWE (née McLEAN.) Robert leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Dianne and three children, son Stan, daughters Janis HOWE and Julie BLACKLOCK and her husband Jamie, all of Orangeville. Robert will also be greatly missed by his sister Donna O'NEILL and husband Alan of Val Gagne Ontario, nieces Bonnie and Shannon and nephews Ken, Tommy and Danny, and their families. Cremation in accordance with his wishes. No service. In place of flowers, donations in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Association or the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals would be greatly appreciated.

ZAMMIT, Nicholas Mario ''Nick'' -- Born Zurrieq, Malta, 1928. Passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 21, 2002. Beloved husband of Teresa of 45 years. Loving father of Nick Jr., Linda and Silvio FIORE, John and Mary and Cathy. Cherished Papa of Kristina and Julian, Stefanie, Marissa, Tara and Amara. Dearest Uncle of Carmen O'NEILL and Spiro CACHIA. Will be sadly missed by his close family friend Mike EBEJER, his neighbourhood and the community. Family will receive Friends at the Lynett Funeral Home, 3299 Dundas Street West, (one block east of Runnymede) on Monday from 2-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment Assumption Cemetery. In memory of Nick, please consider a donation to the charity of your choice.
