McTAGGART, Helen (née O'HALLORAN) -- Passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 23, 2002. Beloved wife of the late Hubert (Mac). Loving mother of John and his wife Mandy, Neil and his wife Margaret, and Mark. Dear sister of Michael O'HALLORAN. Much loved friend of Jean BUTTERS. Special thanks to the staff at the Kingsway Retirement Residence for the kind care they provided to Helen. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. West, at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral Mass to be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3055 Bloor St. West (west of Royal York Road) on Saturday, December 28, 2002 at 10: 30 a.m. Private interment Mount Hope Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Good Shepherd Refuge or to the Salvation Army.

All who knew him were Blessed by his passion, his charisma and his love for life, family and politics. Resting at the Paul O'Connor Funeral Home Ltd., 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. (between Warden and Pharmacy) from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Service on Monday morning at 11 a.m. in St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church (Bayview at Highway 7). BOYNE, Esther née O'HARA -- Born December 13, 1909. Died December 24, 2002, at the age of 91 at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto. Wife of Leo Joseph Boyne R.S.H.S.; late of 4 Priestfield Cottages, S.C. Road, Dublin, Ireland. Daughter of Joseph O'HARA of Dalkey, Ireland and Mary LEE, born Castle Market, Dublin, Ireland. Mother of Mrs. Georgina DOYLE, Leo BOYNE, and Mrs. Anne BOWEN of Dublin, Ireland. Mother-in-law to Christopher DOYLE, Patricia BOYNE, and Paul BOWEN. Grandmother of Georgina, Jacqueline, Robert, Hazel, James, Brian and Elizabeth. Sister of Mrs. J. GILL, S.C. Road, Dublin, Ireland. Deeply regretted by all the family, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Sacred Heart of Jesus once in agony have pity on the Dying Poor Souls in Purgatory. Pray for us. No viewing. O'HARA, Emma -- Peacefully on December 25, 2002, in her 100th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Edgar. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Ruth McNEIL and son John ''Jack'' (predeceased.) Sadly missed by all of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Doris O'HARA and sister Miriam BRIGGINSHAW. Friends may call on Saturday, December 28, 2002 at 12 p.m. for visitation prior to a 1 p.m. service at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Interment at York Cemetery.
