DAVISON, Doris C. -- At Shelburne District Hospital on Monday, November 11, 2002 in her 87th year. Wife of the late Thomas DAVISON and dear mother of Catherine FLEMING/FLEMMING (and Dave LABA.) Loving grandmother of Lana FLEMING/FLEMMING, Daniele FLEMING/FLEMMING (and Wilfred SPARLING) and Os FLEMING/FLEMMING (and Wendy BOS) and great-grandmother of Matt, Jade and Rhett. Predeceased by her sisters, Edith PRINGLE and Jessie O'DONNELL. The family will receive Friends at the Doney Funeral Home, Shelburne on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 2: 00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Shelburne Cemetery.

PARRY, Ruth Stevens -- Peacefully, at home, in her much loved Toronto on Thursday, November 14, 2002, with her family and dear friend Lieske by her side. Ruth Stevens PARRY, ''Fuf'' as she was affectionately known to her family and Friends was born November 1, 1927 in Ottawa, Ontario. Alumnus of Queen's University (B.A. Arts '50) and the University of Pittsburg (M.S.W.), Ruth/Mom was a widely known respected and admired advocate for families and children throughout her career in Toronto and Midland with Children's Aid, the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry, the Family Court Court Clinic and Kinark. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Matthew, parents Dr. Rubert and Ruth STEVENS and her sister Lois. She is survived by her children Steve (wife Annie and their children Shannon and Jennifer,) daughter Beth O'DONNELL (husband Paul and their children Meggie, Ryan and Claire), and her sister Trish Stevens STACKHOUSE (husband Brock, daughters Susie (children Diana and Paul) and Wendy (husband David, children Emma and Sara). She leaves behind a lifetime of true Friends who were for her an extraordinary source of strength, comfort and joy. Friends may call at the Murray E. Newbigging Funeral Home, 733 Mt. Pleasant Road (south of Eglinton Ave.) on Monday, November 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. Service to be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. followed by a reception. Private family interment. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

SCOTT, Stanley Nelson -- Died peacefully in his sleep at North York General Hospital on Tuesday, December 17th, 2002. Born September 20th, 1926 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Stanley was a dedicated high school teacher with the Scarborough Board of Education for over 30 years. He is survived by loving wife of 42 years, Anne SCOTT. Devoted father to Elizabeth and her husband Alan, David and his wife Maureen. Proud grandfather of Meagan, Michael and Jessica. Brother to Brian SCOTT; sister to Leone O'DONNELL and the late Lorraine PATTESON. son of the late Stanley and Elsie SCOTT. Special thanks to the staff at North York Seniors Health Centre and Providence Centre for their wonderful care. A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of St. Andrew, 2333 Victoria Park Avenue in Scarborough, at 11: 00 a.m. on Friday, December 20th, 2002. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or the Church of St. Andrew.
