Gladys WHEELER of Stayner died on June 9, 2002 at her home in Stayner at the age of 81 years.
Daughter of the late Dora (KEOWN) MATHESON and Angus MATHESON, Gladys and her husband Harold resided in Wasaga Beach and Stayner. Gladys before she developed Alzheimer's, enjoyed her visits to her Island home and was loved by all whose lives she touched.
Beloved mother of Cheryl and her husband the late Hector HARRIS, Grandmother of Stacy and Kevin SHEARD and Elaine HARRIS and great grandmother to Melissa, Matthew, Andrew and Mason. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Gordon and Mary MATHESON, Frances Mervyn and Edna MATHESON. Predeceased by husband Harold, son-in-law Hector HARRIS, grand_son Brad HARRIS, bothers Joe, Errold and Reg and sister-in-law Catherine MATHESON and brother-in-law Howard MERVYN. A graveside funeral service was conducted by Carruthers and Davidson Funeral Home of Stayner at Stayner Union Cemetery on Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at 10 O'clock. The Reverend B. WILKINSON officiated.

On Christmas Day a Hand that bore the imprint of a nail reached down to end the suffering of our brother and carry him to his eternal rest. Richard George was the beloved son of Richard and Marjory LEWIS (both predeceased). Loved and devoted brother to sisters Marjory (Mrs. M. PATTERSON), Toronto, Anne (Mrs. M. WEBBER), Nova Scotia, Lois (Mrs. D. FRENCH,) Grimsby, Ontario, and brothers Bill and George, both of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by Irene. No visitation. Cremation. A Memorial Service to honour and celebrate Richard's life will be announced at a later date. Special gratitude to Jim and Betty McMILLEN, Bill MATHIESON and Tom and Betty GORMAN.
