September 1, 1916 to July 19, 2002.
Margaret LEWIS, a resident of Manitoulin Lodge, Gore Bay, died at the Lodge
on Friday, July 19, 2002 at the age of 85.
She was born in Barrie Island, daughter of the late John and Mabel Edith
(GAMBLE)
CALBACK.
Margaret was a housewife and worked on the family farm all her life until she retired to
Gore Bay. She was a member of the Lyons Memorial United Church and was a
long-time volunteer at the Lodge. She also enjoyed knitting and a good game
of cards. Margaret was a social person who enjoyed helping and visiting
many people over the years.

Friends called the Culgin Funeral Home on Sunday, July 21, 2002. The
funeral service was conducted from the Wm. G. Turner Chapel of the Culgin
Funeral Home, on Monday July 22, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment
followed in Long Bay Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Culgin Funeral Home.

Cynthia will always be remembered by her love of her pets
and is reunited with Bobbi, Buttons, Boots, Carmel and others and is
survived by her ever-faithful dog Bo. Born and raised in Sudbury,
Cynthia lived in Kirkland Lake (2001), Sault Ste. Marie (1976 to
2001) and previously in Toronto, the Sault and Sudbury and was a
summer resident of McGregor Bay from 1975-1996. Her family and many
dear Friends can take comfort in their best memories. A memorial
service to celebrate the best times of Cynthia's life will be held in
the Simpson Room of the Sault Ste. Marie Holiday Inn on Saturday,
September 28, 2002 from 11 am - 3 p.m.. Janet
NORMAN will offer a
memorial tribute at 1 am, followed by a time for fellowship and
refreshments. Memorial donations to your local animals shelter would
be appreciated.
