Margaret Edith LEWIS
In loving memory of Margaret Edith LEWIS, September 1, 1916 to July 19, 2002.
Margaret LEWIS, a resident of Manitoulin Lodge, Gore Bay, died at the Lodge on Friday, July 19, 2002 at the age of 85.
She was born in Barrie Island, daughter of the late John and Mabel Edith (GAMBLE) CALBACK. Margaret was a housewife and worked on the family farm all her life until she retired to Gore Bay. She was a member of the Lyons Memorial United Church and was a long-time volunteer at the Lodge. She also enjoyed knitting and a good game of cards. Margaret was a social person who enjoyed helping and visiting many people over the years.
Dear and loving wife of the late Arden LEWIS who predeceased her in 1984. Dear mother of Ronald LEWIS and wife Nancy of Gore Bay, Marlene BURNS and husband Stewart of Gordon, Bill LEWIS and wife Gail of Espanola, Betty MASTERS of B.C., Maxine McLEOD and husband Jim of Ice Lake and Barbara ARMSTRONG and husband Scott of Gore Bay. Proud grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of 33. Predeceased by one grand_son Jeff LEWIS. Dear sister of Mary COBURN and John CALBACK both predeceased. Dear sister-in-law of Mary KERHANOVICH (friend Earl), Doreen GRANGER (George), Madeline HOLOWACK, Margaret C. LEWIS and Garth and Griffin. Predeceased by Bill LEWIS and George and Ina BREATHAT. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends called the Culgin Funeral Home on Sunday, July 21, 2002. The funeral service was conducted from the Wm. G. Turner Chapel of the Culgin
Funeral Home, on Monday July 22, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment followed in Long Bay Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Culgin Funeral Home.

Cynthia WALTERS (née AISTROP)
In loving memory of Cynthia who passed away at her home in Sudbury on September 8, 2002 at the age of 58 years. Beloved daughter of Verna MASTERS (George) of Sault Ste. Marie, cherished sister of Vivian WARREN (Mike) of Lindsay, Laurie MASTERS (Sandra) of the Sault., loving aunt of Randall and Peter WARREN, Todd AISTROP (Judy,) Corey Rice (Sheldon,) great-aunt of Alex and Eric AISTROP and John RICE. Predeceased by father (F/LP,) Charles Sydney AISTROP, A.F.C., Royal Canadian Air Force and brothers Brian (Lynda) and Clifford (Judy) AISTROP. Ex-wife of Gary WALTERS. Fondly remembered by long time companion Isadore WEINBERG. Cynthia will always be remembered by her love of her pets and is reunited with Bobbi, Buttons, Boots, Carmel and others and is survived by her ever-faithful dog Bo. Born and raised in Sudbury, Cynthia lived in Kirkland Lake (2001), Sault Ste. Marie (1976 to 2001) and previously in Toronto, the Sault and Sudbury and was a summer resident of McGregor Bay from 1975-1996. Her family and many dear Friends can take comfort in their best memories. A memorial service to celebrate the best times of Cynthia's life will be held in the Simpson Room of the Sault Ste. Marie Holiday Inn on Saturday, September 28, 2002 from 11 am - 3 p.m.. Janet NORMAN will offer a memorial tribute at 1 am, followed by a time for fellowship and refreshments. Memorial donations to your local animals shelter would be appreciated.
