LUDDINGTON, Barbara -- At the Versa Care Nursing Home in St. Catharines on Wednesday, November 13, 2002, while in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Leonard LUDDINGTON (1969,) and loving mother of the late Harold CAPRA (1982) and Leo LUDDINGTON (2002.) She will be dearly missed by her daughter Sybil HUNTER of St. Catharines, her son Jack LUDDINGTON of Blenheim, Ontario, her daughter-in-law June LUDDINGTON of Bramalea and by her several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home ''Brampton Chapel'', 289 Main St. N. (Hwy. 10), Brampton (905) 451-1100 on Friday, November 15, 2002 from 12 noon until the Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens. If desired, donations in memory of Barbara may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

KARN, Elsie -- At Oxford Regional Retirement Home, Ingersoll on Thursday November 21, 2002. Elsie R.E. KARN (née EARLE,) formerly of Woodstock in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd W. KARN (1989.) Dear mother of Willard KARN and his wife Pat of Tillsonburg and Elizabeth HATTER and her husband Ray of Whitby. Loved grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by her Friends Jill SMITH, Prudence RUCKLE and Mabel CUTHBERT. Predeceased by her daughter Grace KARN (1950,) son, Donald KARN (1997,) sisters Eileen HUBNER, Sophia LUDINGTON, Alice McROBERTS, Violet SCHERLE and brothers Robert, Samuel, Edward, Allan, Bill and Bert. Elsie was born in Wexford, Ireland in 1908 and immigrated to Canada 14 years later where she met Lloyd and married in 1928. Elsie helped to farm at the family homestead for many years on Bowerhill Road, now known as Karn Road in Woodstock. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Saturday at 1: 30 pm with Reverend Roger McCOMBE officiating. BERTRAND, David Joseph -- At Civic Hospital, North Bay, on Sunday, November 17, 2002 at the age of 51 years. David BERTRAND, loving father of Michael, Adam and Christine, all of Sutton, Ontario. Husband of Joanne (née LUDLOW,) also of Sutton, Ontario. Dear brother of Diane RICHARDS (Pat) of Brampton, Danny (Bev) of Cambridge, Don (Nancy) of Burlington, Darlene AMES (Ed) of Woodbridge and Debbie BOYLE (Danny) of Brampton. Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friend Anne Marie WALSH. Predeceased by his parents David and Jacqueline (née LAMOUREUX.) Resting at the Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral Service in the chapel on Saturday at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
