PHIPPS, Helen (née WEBSTER) -- Peacefully, at Central Park Lodge, on Thursday, December 19, 2002, at the tender age of 97. Beloved wife of the late George Willard PHIPPS. Loving mother of Ruth and Don CAMPBELL, Katharine and Brooke LILL, and Eleanor PHIPPS. Devoted grandmother of Christine (Yvan HARVEY,) and David (Jill) and great grandmother of Erin, Ben, Rachel and Caleigh. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. West, at Windermere, east of the Jane subway from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, December 23, 2002 at 1 p.m. Interment at a later date in Thornbury Union Cemetery. Donations to University College - University of Toronto (Donation Management), 21 King's College Circle, Toronto M5S 3J3, Humbercrest United Church, 16 Baby Point Road, Toronto M6S 2E9, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

HAYES, Walter -- Passed away at Lakeridge Health Corp., Oshawa, on Saturday December 14, 2002, in his 80th year. Went to be with his Lord. Dearly beloved husband of Kathleen. Lovingly remembered by his six children: Elizabeth (Brian) TELFORD of Peterborough, Russell (Cheryl) HAYES of Pickering, John (Elysabeth) HAYES of Toronto, Dorothy (Gord) McCLEAN of Ajax, Wally (Shea) HAYES of Ajax, and Robert (Jacqueline) HAYES of Georgetown. Proud and loving grandfather of seventeen: Melody, Luke, Bethany, Reuben and Joseph TELFORD, David, Jonathan and Joshua HAYES, Victoria and Olivia HAYES, Kevin, Colin and Krista McCLEAN, Oliver and Matilda HAYES, and Julia and Joel HAYES. Survived by his only brother Donald (Muriel) HAYES and nieces Donna MILNE of Richmond Hill and Barbara LILLEY of Brooklin. TUCKER, Minnie -- (Of Brooklin, Ontario) On Saturday, December 14, 2002 in her 72nd year. Predeceased by her husband Cecil Walter. Mother to Marilyn and her husband John METCALFE, and Maxine TUCKER and her husband Graham MUSTARD. Grandmother to Neill and spouse Rachel, Keirra, Edward and spouse Keri, David, and Sarah. Great-grandmother to Desree and Brayden. Survived by her brother Herbert DYSON and sister Violet GRAVES of England. Sadly missed by her relatives in England and Canada from the DYSON, GRAVES, HALL, LILLIE and TUCKER families. The family will receive Friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax (Pickering Village) 905-428-8488 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and on Friday, December 20, 2002 at St. George's Anglican Church, Randall Dr. and Kingston Rd., Ajax, from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment in Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa.
