The Creator saw you getting tired
When a cure was not to be
In tears we watched you sinking
We watched you fade away
Our hearts were almost broken
You fought so hard to stay
Tired and helpless, you made no fuss
We knew you could not stay with us
When we saw you sleeping
So peaceful, free from pain
We could not wish you back to suffer again
