MUSTARD, Marian Elizabeth (née DRANE) -- May 22, 1930 - December 25, 2002 Passed away suddenly but with great grace at her home in Toronto, in the arms of her husband of 39 years, Gordon Alexander MUSTARD. Schooled at the Ontario College of Art, Marian was, for 30 years, Art Director and Editorial Designer on such various publications as Chatelaine, Flare, Maclean's and The Financial Post. She was also the founding Art Director of City And Country Home magazine. During her business career, she won numerous awards for design and illustration. On her official retirement, Marian devoted herself to her painting through classes with John LEONARD and proudly achieved her chop in Sumi-e at the Japanese Cultural Centre. Her award-winning paintings grace walls throughout the country. She was a gifted artist and a life-long student of Egyptology, philosophy, art, and every aspect of the often complicated, but never dull, world around her. Marian delighted in discovering the joy in everything and everyone she met. She is survived, and will be greatly missed, by her husband, her children, Judi and Stan ASHBY, John and Mary LAWSON, Michelle and Stephen SMYTH, her grandchildren, Alysa and Harold KIM, David ASHBY, Megan and Patrick LUCKIE, Jennifer DOLAN, Paul DOLAN, Ryan LAWSON, Mac LAWSON, Connor SMYTH and Ian SMYTH, her first great-grandchild, Nicolas LUCKIE, and her brothers and sisters, Bruce and June DRANE, Norma WILLS and Irene and Jerome MOREL. The family will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (South of Eglinton Avenue East) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, December 29. Funeral service in the chapel on Monday, December 30 at 11 o'clock. Marian's family invite you to attend a reception at the funeral home after the service.

Margaret KIMEWON/ MANDAMIN, a former resident of Wikwemikong passed away at her residence in Calgary, Alberta on Saturday, February 16, 2002 at the age of 37 years.
Margaret was born in Little Current, daughter of Thomas and Yvonne {RECOLLET} KIMEWON. Margaret was a member of the Catholic Church. Loving mother of Derek and Leslie both of Sudbury. Dear sister of Henry RECOLLET (predeceased,) Rubina NEBENIONQUIT (husband Dean) of Naughton, Vivian RECOLLET of Toronto, Gladys PELTIER (Johnny JACKSON), and Yvonne RECOLLET (Wayne JACKO) both of Wikwemikong, Victoria KIMEWON (Randal DESMOULIN) of Sudbury, Kenneth KIMEWON of Toronto, May KIMEWON of Winnipeg, Eliza GRAY/GREY, Charlie GRAY/GREY and Thomas YOUNG. Dear and loving niece of Josephine WEMEGWANS of Wikwemikong. Also survived by many nephews and nieces and will be missed many extended family members. Funeral Mass was held from Holy Cross Church on Monday, February 25 with Father Bert FOLIOT as celebrant. Interment followed in Wikwemikong Cemetery, Wikwemikong. Arrangements entrusted to Manitowaning Chapel Funeral Home.

Rose KIMEWON- WILLIAMS (née ROY)
In loving memory Rose KIMEWON- WILLIAMS (née ROY) June 1, 1926-February 26, 2002.
Rose KIMEWON- WILLIAMS, a resident of Wikwemikong passed away at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current on Tuesday, February 26, 2002 at the age of 74 years.
She was born in Wikwemikong daughter of Francis and Christine ROY (both predeceased.) Rose was a renowned artist of tufted quill boxes. She had been commissioned many times during her career to create works for special presentations to many people including Queen Elizabeth II. Some of Rose's works are on display at the Museum of Civilization in Ottawa and the Museum of the American Indian (Smithsonian) in Washington, D.C. Rose also supported her children and grandchildren as a proud hockey fan and was a loving foster mother to many children over her lifetime. Rose was an avid bingo player and enjoyed gardening and gathering wild fruits and berries for preserves.
Beloved wife of Ambrose KIMEWON- WILLIAMS (predeceased.) Dear and loving mother of the late Anthony ROY (wife May), Linda and Elizabeth (friend Ho JEREZ), Gary, and Cecil (wife Anne) LAFONTAINE. Loving grandmother of Mark, Michelle, Toni, Little Spirit, Cody and Lori.
Dear great grandmother of Ephie, Mark Jr., Joel, Ethan, Cameron and Hunter.
Dear sister of Agnes (husband Henry JIINGWA SHAWANA,) Mary and Joseph PANGOWISH (both predeceased) and Onezime ROY (predeceased.) Dear aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass was held from Holy Cross Mission Church on Friday, March 1, 2002 with Father J. STOGRE Society of Jesus as celebrant. Interment followed in Wikwemikong Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Manitowaning Chapel Funeral Home.

EDGINGTON, Anthony Armitage ''Tony'' -- Peacefully, in his sleep, at Cama Woodlands Nursing Home, on Wednesday, December 25, 2002. Lt. Col. Anthony EDGINGTON of Burlington, age 86 years. Dear husband of Marjorie ''Peggy'' (née STEPHENSON) EDGINGTON and proud father of Lorna (Al BISSELL) and Heather (John KIMMELL.) Pop to Drew and his wife Christine and Stuart Carmichael. Tony was a Veteran of World War 2, serving with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corp. Memorial Prayers to be held at Smith's Funeral Home, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), Burlington (905-632-3333), on Monday, December 30, 2002 at 1 p.m. Donations gratefully accepted to the Parkinson Foundation or the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation.
