IGNOTAS, Teofile (née JASKELEVICIUS) 1920-2002 -- Passed away peacefully at Humber River Regional Hospital on Saturday, December 14, 2002. Predeceased by her husband Stasys. Loving mother of Stanley and his wife Carol. Cherished by her granddaughter Tanya. She will be sadly missed by her extended family and Friends. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. West, at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Mass to be held at the Church of the Resurrection, 1 Resurrection Rd. (west of Islington Ave., at Bloor St. West) on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 at 10 a.m. Interment Saint John's Lithuanian Cemetery.

SZARGA, Edward -- Suddenly at his residence, on Saturday, November 16th, 2002. Ed Szarga, of Wyevale, in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Carol SZARGA (née SIMPSON.) Dear brother of Helen JASKULA of Hamilton. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Victoria SZARGA, his brother Stanley SZARGA and sister Mary LEMELIN. Brother-in-law of John and Hélène SIMPSON of Hamilton, Anne and Harald BOKER of Wyevale, William T. and Roberta SIMPSON of Barrie. Ed will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. At Ed's request, there will be no funeral services. Cremation has taken place. In memoriam donations to the Huronia Hospitals Foundation (Huronia District Hospital) or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Lynn-Carson Funeral Home, 290 First Street, Midland, 705-526-6551. A Memorial Tree will be planted in Algonquin Provincial Park by the Lynn-Carson Funeral Home.
