HUMPHRIES, Margaret (née JOHNSON) -- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marg on Monday, November 11, 2002. Marg, beloved wife of the late Norm. Loving mother to Beth and Wayne HOTH, Sue and Darrell WILLIAMSON, Barbara and Doug THURGOOD, Pat and David EVERINGHAM and Bob and Shirley HUMPHRIES. Will be missed by her grandchildren Colin, Adam, Andrew, Kris, Scott, Kari, Melanie, Lindsay, Mike, Dave, Steve, Laura, Sean, Bryan and Rachel and great-grandchildren Zakary, Nicole and Chloe. Dear sister to Clarice SIMON. Marg was born in Toronto. Raised her family in Agincourt and retired to Campbellford. Friends may call at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1057 Brock Road - Pickering (south of 401) 905-686-5589, from 5-8 p.m. Thursday. A funeral service to commemorate Marg's life will held Friday at 11 a.m. Cremation. As expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

HOSAKI, Kazue (Kay) née MAIKAWA -- At the age of 85, peacefully at her home, on Friday, November 22, 2002. Beloved wife to George, mother to Dianne and Henry HOTTA, Elaine and Ken IWAI, Gary and Elizabeth HOSAKI, Wayne and Cheryl HOSAKI, the late Dale and Carolyn HOSAKI, and the late Richard. Proud Nanny to 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Mickey and the late Kiyo, Harry, Sachi and Kaz Nishio, Tak and Emiko, Kiyoshi and Sandy. Visitation will be held at the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Ave. East (just west of Warden) on Tuesday, November 26, 2002 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

In loving memory of Frank William BLUM at the age of 87 years,
Tuesday morning, September 24th, 2002 at the Extendicare York.
Beloved husband of Mildred (NAUMANN) BLUM, predeceased 1994, loving father of Ross (wife Marjorie) predeceased 1995, Raymond (wife Penny) of Sault Ste. Marie, Thomas (wife Val) of North Battleford, Frank Jr. (wife Cheryl) of Sarnia, Richard (wife Donna) of Walden, Robert (wife Joyce) of Swift Current, Barbara (husband Sandy MacLENNAN) and Brenda (husband Chris CAYEN) both of Walden. Cherished grandpa of 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear son of Nicholas and Doris BLUM both predeceased. Dear brother of Bill HOTTEN of North Bay, predeceased by Irene GUCKENBERGER, John, Helen STUMPF and Nick. Born in Baden, he worked at INCO Levack and Creighton Mines for 37 years, returning in 1972. He served overseas in World War II and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Lively Branch then Little Current Branch. He was a past chief of the Creighton Volunteer Fire Department. Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Funeral service was held in the RJ Barnard Chapel, Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St. Sudbury Thursday, September 26, 2002 at 4 p.m. Cremation in the Parklawn Crematorium.

HOTTON, Dollie Ann -- On Monday, December 23, 2002 at the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia, in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Reuben. Loving mother of Lorne and his wife Joanne, and Beulah DENNISON. Cherished grandmother of Donna, Greg and Steve, and great grandmother. Predeceased by her brothers Francis and Syd. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and Friends. A Memorial Service will be held at the Giffen-Mack ''Danforth'' Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main subway), 416-698-3121, on Friday, January 3, 2003 at 1 o'clock. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
