HEFFERNAN, Michael John -- Born December 6, 1951, passed away November 16, 2002. Loving son, brother, uncle and great-uncle. Died after a long struggle with cancer. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Visitation November 19, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main St. S. Brampton. Requiem Mass November 20 at Saint Mary's Church, Main St. Brampton at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment of ashes in Mount Peace Cemetery, Mississauga at a later ate. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Cherished mother of Sheila, Jane, Brian, David and Mimi and the late Ann and Michael. Devoted grandmother of 13 and proud great-grandmother of 2.5. Visitation November 19, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main St. S. STEVENS, Effie Asenath -- On December 14, 2002 at North York General Hospital, Effie, beloved wife of the late Russel STEVENS. Dear mother of Frederick Daniel STEVENS and his wife Nannette Beverley TAILOR/TAYLOR. Predeceased by her mother Julia HEFFORD and father Frederick James MARTIN. Loving grandmother of Michael Glen STEVENS and Raymond Joseph STEVENS and his wife Uzma MUSTAFFA. Survived by her sister Jean COOPER. Mrs. STEVENS is also predeceased by her six brothers and three sisters. Mrs. STEVENS is resting at the Bernardo Funeral Home, 855 Albion Road (1 block east of Islington Ave.) on Tuesday, December 17 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 18 in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Glendale Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Thompson House or Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
