PLUT, John (Ivan) -- Peacefully on December 19, 2002, at Toronto East General Hospital at the age of 80. Beloved husband of the late Ana for 20 years. Caring and good-humoured father to John and his wife Maxine. Dear uncle to Paul and Frank BABICH, Mary GRUBISA, Paul and John PLUT. He will always be fondly remembered by his many Friends and family in Slovenia and Canada. His jokes will be deeply missed by all. Friends and family may call at Sherrin Funeral Home, 873 Kingston Road (west of Victoria Park Avenue), Toronto (416-698-2861) on Sunday, December 22, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church (16 Lockwood Avenue, at Queen St. E.) on Monday, December 23, 2002 at 1 o'clock. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Hilda, wife of the late Martin Gordon GRUNEIR and the late Ronald SUKLOFF, dear mother of Danny Joel GRUNEIR, Jeremy DOV, proud grandma of Jerred, Jesse and Justine. Survived by brother Dr. Isaac H. SHLESER and sister Nettie BRESLIN of Chicago, predeceased by her sister the late Freda LMREY of New York. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22 at 11: 00 a.m. at the Pardes Shalom Cemetery, community section 4. Shiva will be observed at 304 Betty Anne Dr. Memorial donations in Hilda's name may be made to the Association for the Welfare of the Israeli Soldier.

WASERMAN, Karl -- Died peacefully on December 15, 2002 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Lillian (Brill) WASERMAN and loving partner of Beatrixe LEDSON. Father and father-in-law of Linda WASERMAN and Victor SALEM, Susan TRAINOFF and Maury KLEINMAN, Sharon WASERMAN, Debra WASERMAN, David WASERMAN and Nancy TRUDEL, grandfather of Nancy (MENDELSOHN) BROWN, Jennifer MENDELSOHN, Jordana, Chelsea and Tamara WASERMAN; great grandfather of Kira BROWN. Eldest son of the late Harry and Anna GRUVICK) WASERMAN. Brother and brother-in-law of Nessie and the late Paul WASERMAN, Dora and the late Hyman WASERMAN, Nat and Phyllis WASERMAN, Ernie and Sadie WASERMAN and Ettie and Saul HERSH. World War 2 Veteran of the Royal Canadian Engineers. Former owner of Waserman Furs (Ottawa). Funeral was December 16. Shiva in Ottawa at the home of Susan TRAINOFF, Saturday evening in Thornhill at home of David WASERMAN. Donations to the Jacob Gladstone Fund (613) 798-4696 would be appreciated.
