GOW, Muriel -- Peacefully surrounded by family at the Baycrest Centre in Toronto on Monday, December 30, 2002. Murial GOW, in her 83rd year, beloved wife of 60 years to Peter GOW. Loving mother of Rosemary and her husband Michael FREEMAN, and John and his wife Julie. Sadly missed by her four grandchildren Tamsyn, Neil, Genevieve and Tegan. Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston from Friday, January 3 at 12 noon until memorial service time at 1 p.m. in the chapel.

DACK, Muir -- Peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Saturday, November 9, 2002. Muir Dack of Orillia, beloved husband of Elizabeth (GOWANLOCK.) The family will receive Friends at the Doolittle-Carson Funeral Home, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday, November 13, 2002, at 1 o'clock. Interment Stone Church Cemetery, Beaverton. Donations to Westmount United Church or Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. A Memorial Tree will be planted in Algonquin Park by the Doolittle-Carson Funeral Home.

BRYAN, Frederick James -- On Tuesday, December 24, 2002, at the Parkview Nursing Home in Stouffville, in his 83rd year. Beloved father of, Patti COLLINS, Sharon BRYAN, Sue MYLLYKANGAS and their respective families; Gary COLLINS, son-in-law, grandchildren Lisa and Tim COLLINS, Kearney COOPER, Robert SHARMAN, son-in-law, and Mauri MYLLYKANGAS, son-in-law. In addition, he leaves 3 other daughters, Jackie WHITFIELD, Gerry GOWLAND, Christine ROBERTSON and 3 other grandchildren, Danielle, Jessica, Terri and Andrea. Fred and family were genuinely appreciative of the support from the nursing staffs at both Amica (Swan Lake) in Markham and at the Parkview Nursing Home in Stouffville. They did so much in easing his condition over the last period of his life. A memorial service will be held in mid-January at The Simple Alternative, North York, 416-441-1580. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Canada, www.parkinson.ca or 416-227-9700.
