Loving grandmother of Matthew and Martina. Dear sister-in-law of Ada and her husband Frank DEL GOBBO, Igino and his wife Rosina, and Lina D'ADDARIO. Missed by nephews and nieces. Relatives and Friends will be received at the Bernardo Funeral Home, 2960 Dufferin Street (two streets south of Lawrence Ave.) on Saturday 6 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 18, 2002 at St. Norbert Church (100 Regent Rd.) 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (Bathurst St. north of Finch Ave.). Dear sister of Aldo and Gino GOBBO, Angelina (Mrs. Antonio BELLUZZO), Giuseppina (Mrs. Angelo BELLUZZO), Pierina (Mrs. P. NASCIMBEN.) Cherished Grandmother of Elissa, Jennifer, Serena, and Gabriel. PHILLIPS, John Gavin (Jack) -- Age 81. Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 3, 2002, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Northern Ireland but came to Toronto as a child where he spent the rest of his life. He retired after a lengthy service with (Supertest) British Petroleum. During W.W. II, Jack served in the 12th Manitoba Dragoons and was very proud to have fought for the liberation of Holland. son of the late Gavin PHILLIPS and the late Leonora PHILLIPS, he was predeceased by his wives Nan in 1965 and Margaret in 1985. He is survived by his stepdaughter Diane GOBEL, her husband Werner of Newmarket and their four sons. He is also survived by his sisters Rae BARKER, Aurora, and Leonora CRAMMOND, Newmarket, and his brother William (Bill) of Jackson's Point. He was predeceased by his sisters Reta KENNEDY and Doris MAHER. Jack will be fondly missed by many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2002 at the Murray E. Newbigging Funeral Home, 733 Mt. Pleasant Road (south of Eglinton), Toronto at 11 a.m., with Reverend Deborah HART officiating. The family wish to thank the Hiley family and Dr. Lisa BELGIUDICE for all their wonderful care and request that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Sunnybrook Hospital Cardiopulmonary Unit.

CUNEO, Lucy -- Peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, November 19, 2002 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Adolph CUNEO. Loving mother of Rosemarie GOBESSI and her husband Arrigo, and the late Frank CUNEO. Dear mother-in-law of Christine CUNEO. Cherished Nonnie of Mark and his wife Linda, Linda and her husband Michael, Tanya and her husband Duarte, Gavin and his partner Alison, and Heather. Loving sister of Louis P.D. SCAGNETTI, Virgino (Pep) SCAGNETTI and his wife Josie. Lucy will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Lucy was former proprietor of Cuneo's Foodland and Macyline Stylewear and product consultant for many companies in the Toronto area. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas Street West, Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling Avenues) on Saturday, November 23, 2002 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 o'clock. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. If desired, remembrances to the Dorothy Ley Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
