Antonio "Tony" GALLANT
Passed away peacefully at home in Ottawa, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 13, 2002 in his 82nd year.
Loving husband of Alberta JOLY, the late Rita GAUDETTE and the late Simone LAMOUREUX. Dearly loved father of Anita (Paul ARCHAMBAULT) of Ottawa, Marc (the late Jannine TROTTIER) of Ottawa and Anne-Marie (Donald YARASKAVITCH) of Whitby. Proud grandfather of Caroline, Nathalie and Patrick.
The Funeral Mass was held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Vanier Ontario Saturday, February 16, 2002. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff at the Centre d'Accueil Champlain, Vanier, Longterm Care Residence, for the loving care and compassion given to our dear father. Arrangements entrusted to Hulse, Playfair, McGarry Chapel.

Dorothy " Irene" (née JOHNSON,) of Trenton in her 75th year passed away peacefully on November 22, 2002. Loving wife of Theodore "Ted" for 54 years. Dear mother of Beverly (Ray) BLANK of Winnipeg Manitoba, Valerie GAULIN of London, Noreen Johnstone (Oscar WARREN) of Trenton, Roberta (Stuart) ROZEMA - Seaton of Brighton, James (Annie) MUNDT of Gibbons Alberta, Dale MUNDT of Kingston and Donna (Jeff) SANDFORD of Cobourg. Predeceased by daughter Karen ANTOINE (Halupka) of Lethbridge Alberta. Lovingly remembered by 16 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Memorial service at Carrying Place United Church on Saturday, November 30, 2002. Interment at a later date. In memory of Irene donations to the Trenton Hospital or Carrying Place United Church Memorial Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Adeline Mary KING
May 3, 1915 to December 14, 2002
Adeline KING, a resident of Wikwemikong, passed away at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current, on Saturday, December 14 2002 at the age of 87 years.
She was born in Wikwemikong, daughter of the late David and Jane (ASSINEWE) CORBIERE.
Part of her life was spent raising her family on the farm, then she worked in Oakville for a period of time, before returning to Wikwemikong in the mid '50s. She was a member of AMIKOOK and the Catholic Church. She will be remembered by
her family as a kind and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She will be sadly missed, but many happy memories will be cherished.
Adeline was predeceased by her beloved husband David KING in 1981.
Loving and loved mother of Cecil, wife Catherine KING of Saskatoon Donald, wife Elaine KING of Fort Erie Elizabeth, husband Gary GAUTHIER of Peterborough and Loretta, husband Len McDONALD of Orillia.
Proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Also survived by sister-in-law Rita CORBIERE of Wikwemikong, and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers Adam, Ambrose and his wife Angeline, John and his wife Victoria and James and his wife Mary. Friends called the Holy Cross Mission, on Sunday December 15 and Monday December 16. The funeral mass was held at the Holy Cross Mission on Tuesday December 17, 2002 with Father Douglas McCARTHY as celebrant. Interment in Buzwah Cemetery. Culgin Funeral Home

McQUADE, Robertha (Bobbie) -- Suddenly at Brookfield Place, Barrie on Friday, November 15th, 2002. Loving sister of Florence WRIGHT of Barrie, Eunice McLEOD and her husband Bill of Barrie, and Beatrice McQUADE of Toronto. Much loved ''Auntie Bobbie'' to many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Mildred McQUADE, Ethel SCOTT and Ella GAUTHIER and brothers Robert and Wallace McQUADE. Robertha graduated as a registered nurse from Hamilton General Hospital in 1945. She joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1949, and participated in the evacuation of the sick and wounded from Japan during the Korean War. She retired from the armed forces in 1973. After retiring, Robertha studied the art of porcelain painting at Oakland University and taught for 20 years. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Rd., at Yonge Street, Barrie on Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. A service celebrating her life will take place in the chapel at 3 p.m.

FREY, Helen Frances -- Peacefully at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, November 13, 2002. Helen Frances FREY of Saint Thomas, formerly of Toronto and Saskatoon in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Philip FREY (1990.) Dear mother of Donald FREY of Toronto, Dr. Gordon FREY and wife Marie of Faro, Yukon and Ann FOSTER of Tillsonburg. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Jon and Suzanne FREY, Karen FREY and Colin NIELSON, Janice KNOWLTON, Cheryl GAUVIN, Robin and Rick SCHOCK, Peter and Cathy FREY, Graham and Olwyn FREY, Susan and Jamie CLUETT and Cathy and Ken FOX. Also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and brother Alan CAMERON of North Bay. Predeceased by her parents Mabel (FALCONER) and Aldis CAMERON, brothers Harvey and Donald CAMERON, daughter-in-law Christine BALDWIN- FREY (1995) and son-in-law Corson (Cork) FOSTER (1991.) A family service will be held at Ostrander's Funeral Home Chapel, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg on Saturday, November 16, 2002 at 4: 00 p.m. with Reverend Gary Shuttleworth officiating.
