Homer E. FISCHER, husband of Peggy FISCHER (TRIMBLE,) father of Terry, Tom and Jane, brother-in-law of Bette McHARG (TRIMBLE) and the late Tom TRIMBLE, uncle to John McHARG and Judy and Madeline TRIMBLE,
died April 14th, 2002, Hot Springs, Arkansas. Age 88.

LEWIS, Dorothea Elizabeth 'Dot' (née FISCHER) -- Born in Pembroke, Ontario, died peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2002 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late James William LEWIS and survived by her sisters, Isabel GALLOW and Adie PUKYS. Loving mother of Barbara and her husband Ronald COULTER, Edward and his wife Eleanor, Marne and her husband Jack HUYS, William and his wife Linda and Richard and his wife Patricia. Grandma 'Dot' will be missed by her 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She shared guidance, wisdom, love, humour and courage with everyone. Friends may call at Andrews Community Funeral Centre, Bramalea Chapel, 8190 Dixie Road (north of Steeles Ave.) 905-456-8190 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service at St. Joseph of Nazareth Anglican Church, 290 Balmoral Drive on Wednesday at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or Sleeping Children Around the World, Etobicoke.

Predeceased by her elder daughter, Maureen S., Dianne was mother of Patricia and mother-in-law of Matthew CHURCH; grandmother of Alice and Olivia; sister and sister-in-law of John BROWN (deceased,) Virginia ''Peach'' ROBERTSON, Norma SCARBOROUGH, Pat SKIPPON, Jeanelle SAVONA, Gloria BALDWIN, Bud BALDWIN, Charles BROWN (deceased), Murn BROWN, David BROWN, Maggie SIMMONS, Michael BROWN (deceased,) and Marigold ''Mal'' WILSON longtime friend of Ken CAVANAGH; daughter-in-law of the late Jack and Lorna CAVANAGH of Scarborough; sister-in-law of the late Joan FISHER (née CAVANAGH;) cousin, aunt and friend to many. The family will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (South of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday.
