BECKETT, Elizabeth (Betty) -- Peacefully at home on Saturday, November 9, 2002 after a lengthy illness. Beloved wife of George. Loving mother of Douglas MacFAYDEN. Sister of June, Ted, Marilyn and Margie. Nana will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Tara, Caitlin and Spencer MacFAYDEN, along with their mothers Karen MacFAYDEN and Nancy DYE. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, November 14 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., followed by service at 1 p.m. at the McDougall and Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Rd., Scarborough. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

(Ted) -- Retired from Ontario Hydro, a Past Master of Metropolitan Lodge No. 542, a Past Grand Steward Grand Lodge of Canada Province of Ontario, a Past Most Wise Sovereign of Toronto Scottish Rite, Coroneted Thirty-Third Degree 1980. Peacefully at North York General Hospital on Monday, November 18, 2002 at the age of 78. Dear husband of Doreen, loving Dad to Don, Marianne and husband Les VINTON, and Susan and husband Fred PICK. Dearest brother to Bob and wife Jean, sister Victoria and husband Jack HAWES. Lovingly remembered by Emily ROBINSON and sister-in-law Joy DAY (England.) Loving grandfather and great-grandfather of Dave and Anne BISHOP and daughters Nicole and Carly, Jennifer, Greg and Dori VINTON, Chantelle and Adrian TINLINE and daughter Kailey. Fondly remembered by cousins, nieces and nephews and their children. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Friday, November 22, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the R.S. ROBERTS, William Llewelyn -- Died peacefully at Village Park Nursing Home on Tuesday morning, November 12, 2002, in his 84th year. Bill, loving husband of Thelma. Dear father of Donna (Mrs. Don MacLEOD), Doug ROBERTS and his wife Susan, and Janice (Mrs. Bob FRANTZ.) Taid to Mark and his wife Deepthi, Kristen and her husband Guy, Carey, Joe, Kelly and her husband Adrian, and Todd. Hen Daid to Kayla, Emma, Naia and Matthew. Dear brother of Olwen and Glenys. Predeceased by his sister Helen. Dear brother-in-law of Marian DYER. WAGAR, Robert Allan -- After a well fought battle with cancer, escorted by the Angels, from Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care on Saturday, November 16th, 2002, at the age of 60, to Heaven. Robert WAGAR of Peterborough, member of Park Street Baptist Church, former employee of Canadian Tire Corp., Barrie. Loved and loving husband of Marlene (DYER;) father of Denise (and Scott) EMERSON of Odessa, Missouri; grandfather of Kiali-Rae EMERSON also of Odessa, Missouri. Fondly remembered by cousins, aunts and uncles. Already missed by his beloved Bichon ''Little Miss Annie''. Funeral Service will be held at Park Street Baptist Church Peterborough on Tuesday, November 19th at 3: 00 p.m. Visitation will be from 1: 30-3:00 p.m. The Reverend Ian DICKSON/DIXON will be officiating. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens. In memory of Robert donations to the Rhonda Lazerte Ministries or Park Street Baptist Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
