PENFOLD, Jean -- Peacefully on December 22, 2002 at Humber River Regional Hospital at the age of 91. Predeceased by her late husband Harry and two sons, Doug and Kenneth DILBEY. Loving mother of Doreen BUTTERWICK and Ronald DILBEY. A loving mother-in-law to George BUTTERWICK and Ann, Janet and Maureen DILBEY. She will be sadly missed by her 8 loving grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The family will recieve Friends between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 28 at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles). The funeral service will take place Sunday, December 29 at 1 p.m. Donations to the Salvation Army in lieu of flowers.

Theresa V. SAGO- COOPER
Theresa SAGO- COOPER, a resident of Kaboni passed away at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current on May 20, 2002 at the age of 62 years.
Theresa was born in Sagamok daughter of the David and Edna {GADABUSHI} FRANCIS. Theresa was a housewife and foster mother and spent many hours with her children and foster children. She also was a good cook and enjoyed doing many native arts and crafts. Beloved wife of Andrew J. COOPER of Wikwemikong. Loving mother of Bill (friend Samantha) of Sagamok, Connie (friend Larry) of Sudbury, Marcel and Patricia (friend Paul) all of Wikwemikong, and John of Sudbury. Proud and loving grandmother of Nicole, Kyle, Leo, Che, Amber, Tory, Todd, Tamarra, Damian, Diamond, Chelsey, Marcel Jr., and Leigh-Ann. Dear sister of Lyla KING (husband Randy) of Christian Island, Valarie OWL (husband Joseph) of Massey and Charlie DILLIEN (wife Judy) of Webbwood. Also survived by many nephews and nieces. Friends and relatives called at St. Anthony Daniel Church, Kaboni on Tuesday, May 21, 2002. Funeral Mass was held from St. Anthony Daniel Church, Kaboni on Thursday May 23, 2002 with Father Doug McCARTHY as celebrant. Internment followed in Wikwemikong Cemetery, Kaboni.

Unexpectedly at Saint Joseph's Hospital on November 21, 2002, Miss Ruth ALEXANDER of London in her 69th year. Sadly missed by sister Doris DILLING of London. Dear sister of the late Norman, Isobel and John ALEXANDER and Jean SIMPSON. Ruth will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, (2 blocks north of Oxford Street), on Sunday at 1: 30 p.m. with Reverend David CARROTHERS officiating. Interment at Baird's Cemetery, Brucefield.

Loving mother of Marie and John CARNEY, Kay and Fred KEHOE, Ruth and Dave MARCH, Helen and Jim PARADIE, Marianne and Mike DILLON. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sister of Mildred BAINBRIDGE. Predeceased by her son Eddie, mother Gertrude, and sister Jennie. The family will receive Friends at Taylor Funeral Home ''Newmarket Chapel'', 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket from 7-9 p.m Thursday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Parish, 17955 Leslie Street, Newmarket, Saturday, November 16, 2002 at 11 o'clock. Interment Saint John Cemetery, Newmarket. Predeceased by husband Frank. Loved by children Lenora TOOLEY (husband Baden predeceased) of Espanola, Frank (wife Nancy predeceased) of Sudbury, Anita LOCKEYER (husband Orval,) Brenda MORPHET (husband Harold,) Michael (wife Lyn) and Zann, all of Little Current. Brought joy by grandchildren Lori, Lynn, Kelly, Greg, Tim, Melanie and Marsha. Will be missed by great grandchildren Baden John, Kari,Kyle, Justin, Devin, Adam and Hannah. Survived by sister Nedra and husband George DILLULO of Sudbury and brother Elmer and wife Pearl of Hull, QC. Visitation was held on Monday at the Island Funeral Home.
