STEGER, Peter -- On Sunday, December 29, 2002 at Erin Mills Lodge in Mississauga, Peter in his 72nd year. Dear father of Michael. Loving brother of Andrew and his wife Caroline and Theresa HUTH. Uncle of Linda VAN DER MAY, Frank HUTH and David and Anna-Maria STEGER. Visitation at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville from 5-9 p.m. Monday with prayers at 8: 30 p.m. Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Matthew's Parish, 1150 Monks Passage, Oakville. Interment Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

DERBYSHIRE, James Robert -- Surrounded by his family, after a brave battle with cancer and strokes at Foothills Hospital in Calgary on Thursday, November 7th, 2002, in his 86th year. Born in Waterfoot, England, Jim was the beloved husband of almost 53 years to Barbara Elizabeth (née CARTWRIGHT,) cherished father to Lynne (Doug) EVANS of Winnipeg, Pamela (Tom) ACHESON of Edmonton and Jean (Gary) CARON of Toronto, and father in spirit to sister-in-law Denise (Gordon) ROCHE of Calgary. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Jamie, Michael, Barbara, Sean, Leigh, Katrina, Kevin and Austin. A Memorial Service was held in Springbank, Alberta on Remembrance Day to say goodbye, but his strength of character, his integrity, his love of life and his love will remain in the hearts of family and Friends forever.

GRAHAM, Herbert (Herby) -- At the Scarborough General Hospital, December 17, 2002, after a brave battle with cancer. Herby will be sadly missed by his sisters Margaret ROWE and Eleanor SMITH, and by many nieces and nephews. Herby was a great friend and father to Wilfred DEROCHES. Predeceased by siblings Fred, Albert, Bill, Lena BURLEIGH and Mary STEVENSON. Friends may call at the Pine Hills Visitation, Chapel, and Reception Centre, 625 Birchmount Road (Birchmount and St. Clair), 416-267-8229 on Friday, December 20, 2002 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Service in the Pine Hills Chapel Saturday, December 21, 2002 at 2 o'clock. Private interment. In Herby's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

Velma SLOAN beloved wife of the late Alfred GRAY/GREY. Mrs. GRAY/GREY is the much loved aunt of many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sisters Florence WILSON, Gladys WILLIAMSON, Leona BROWN, Leila LITTLE and Mary FURNIA and brothers William, Reid and Albert SLOAN. Funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11, 2002 at the Norwood and District Funeral Home Ltd., Norwood, Ontario officiated by Reverend Paul PETERS DERRY.

FELL, David Ross (Nipper) -- Formerly of Fenelon Falls and Toronto. Long time employee of Toronto Hydro (retired). Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Palliative Care Unit on Monday, November 18, 2002 in his 74th year. Survived by wife Doris Mary (née GREEN.) Father of Stephen of Peterborough and James and his wife Heather of Trenton, Ontario. Sadly missed by granddaughters Katherine, Leslie and Victoria. Sister Margaret of Three Hills, Alberta, special cousin Florence DERUSHA, many other relatives, Friends from up north, and close neighbours. Predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters, dear Aunt Jenny and Uncle Walter TIERS, and his parents Arthur FELL and Margaret (née UMPHREY.) A Memorial Service will be held at the Nisbett Funeral Home Chapel, 600 Monaghan Road South, Peterborough on Thursday, November 21 at 2 p.m. Interment at Burnt River Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
