HASSOS, Dimitrios ''James'' -- The family sadly announces the death of Dimitrios ''James'' HASSOS suddenly, as the result of a heart attack on Thursday, December 26, 2002, at age 64 years. Jimmy was the loving husband of Georgina (née KATSARGIRIS;) loved father of Bill and his wife Tina, and their son James of Toronto, Stacey MANZO and her husband Franco and their daughter Georgia of Brantford. Jimmy is predeceased by his parents Anastasia and Angelo HASSOS; dear brother of Mike and Mina HASSOS, Toronto Sophie KARAVELIS and her late husband Tom, Toronto; Olympios HASSOS and his wife Ririka, Greece; dear brother-in-law of Toula and Tony DEDES, Brantford; Steve and Penny KATSARGIRIS, Brantford Christina KATSARGIRIS, U.S.A.; Soula and Peter PERLINTZIS, Greece also loved by many nieces and nephews. James and his wife Georgina were the owners of the John Peel Restaurant for over 25 years. Jimmy was a member at the Brantford Golf and Country Club and a past member of the Rotary Club of Brantford, and a member of the Florina Society, Toronto. The family will receive Friends at Mccleister Funeral Home, North Chapel, 495 Park Road North, Brantford, Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. On Sunday, visitation will be held at the Turner and Porter Funeral Home, Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto, Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, 136 Sorauren Avenue, Toronto on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. DEDESKO, Anne (Nee ROCHACEWICH) -- At the Charles Lemoyne Hospital, on December 15, 2002, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Peter DEDESKO; dearly loved and cherished mother of Lydia, Alexander (Joan), Ann (Richard) and Ken (Karen); cherished grandma of Donna, David, Susan, Ron, Steven, Andrew and Sandra; great-grandma of Madeline and Jack. She will be sadly missed by her dear sister Olga and dear brother Sergei (Jeny) and dear sister-in-law Julia. She is survived by her ever devoted and loving cousins, who have been her best Friends throughout her lifetime, Maria (Leo), Larry (Madeline), Ann (John) and Nicky (Rosemary). STERRITT, William Murray (Bill) -- Passed away suddenly at Georgetown Hospital on Tuesday, November 19, 2002 at the age of 81. Bill was retired from Goodyear Canada in 1976, after 35 years of service. Beloved husband of the late Nina Adele (DEDMAN.) Bill is survived by his daughters Ruth HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON (Ron,) Marilyn STALLARD (John,) Gloria FRANKLIN (Bruce,) his sons Murray, and Glen, his 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and by his brother Robert. Bill was predeceased by his brother Clifford. Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home ''Brampton Chapel'', 289 Main Street North (Hwy. 10), 905-451-1100, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2002 at 1: 00 p.m. Interment Brampton Memorial Gardens.
