JACKSON- LYE, Kathleen Kay -- After a lengthy illness, on Friday, December 27, 2002, at Erin Mills Lodge. Predeceased by her first husband, Robert Paul JACKSON (1979) and her husband Raymond LYE. Loving mother of Rick, Sally CUDDY and her husband Mark, and Jeffrey and his wife Ingrid. Dear grandmother of Spencer, McKenzie, Nicole, Jennifer, and Albert. Sister of Marion BECKER and Jenny RACKETT. Kay will long be fondly remembered by many of her former students. Kay was one of the first teachers for the Toronto Board of Education to continue working after being married. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter ''Peel'' Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy. 10, north of Queen Elizabeth Way), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, December 30, 2002 at 3 o'clock. Cremation to follow. If desired, remembrances to the Alzheimer Society and Epilepsy Society of Toronto, Dogguides, or the Lions Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.

PEEBLES, William Norman (Bill) -- Peacefully at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, Ontario on December 28, 2002 at 4: 45 a.m. after a lengthy battle with heart disease. Bill will be sorrowfully missed by his beloved wife Betty, his three sons David, Kevin and his wife Diane, and Steven. Bill was also the proud grandfather of Cameron, Deanna, Taryn, Cori, Kimberly, Megan, Andrew and Matthew. He will also be sadly missed by his extended family member, Evan LEBLANC. Bill is survived by a number of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, and cousins all of whom will miss him tremendously. The family extends much gratitude and special thanks to Dr. Ian DARCEL, Brenda and Colleen Dr. Tim CUDDY, Sandy and Vicky; and Deb WEBER of the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital's Heart Function Clinic. Visitation will be held at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of Queen Elizabeth Way), Burlington (905-632-3333) on Thursday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. There will also be a private memorial service for the immediate family.

SOUTHERN, Mary Louise -- (Registered Nurse - Toronto General Hospital, Class of '39). Peacefully at Riverside Glen, Guelph on Friday, December 20th, 2002 in her 91st year. Louise was predeceased by her husband Sam (1975) and is survived by her loving children: Bob and his wife Ellen of Aylmer and Bill and his wife Elfie of Elora. Sweet, kind and caring, she will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Stephen, Freddie and Brian, Karrie, Ryan and his wife Kim, Greg and his wife Terra, Cody, Travis and Lucas, and her great-grandchildren: Dakota and Bailey, Raine and Tia-Louise. She will also be missed by her sister Kathleen SUTTON of Brampton. The family will receive Friends and relatives at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, ''Shoemaker Chapel'' (1-877-421-9860 toll free) 55 Mill Street East, Acton, on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the ''Shoemaker Chapel'' on Monday, December 23, 2002 at 11: 00 a.m. with Pastor Mark CUDNEY officiating. The interment will follow in the family plot at Churchville Cemetery. Remembrances to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
