John Lawrence
COLLINS
In loving memory of John Lawrence
COLLINS,
May 10, 1932-February 16, 2002.
When I was young, I enjoyed the forests where the deer run free,
fields where the cattle and sheep grazed. Collins' Falls in the
early spring as the mist touched my face, upper coastline of Honora
Bay where the tall pine trees grow. The country store (Collins'
General Store) where visitors from our communities always greeted me
with "Hello, John and how are you today?" Oh, how I would be excited
and laugh. Children as they walked home from the little country
schoolhouse in Honora Bay. My niece Pam and nephew Brent who would
always give me a hug and a kiss "Good Night, Uncle John". Then the
time came for me to live at Manitoulin Lodge in Gore Bay where the
staff and volunteers extended their love and personal care towards me
for 25 years. I was never forgotten when the children came to read,
the pets came to visit and the staff always took time to ensure I was
a part of their day. On February 16, 2002 I left my earthly home to
be with my family members gone before me. Thank you for all of my
memories, love and care...John
COLLINS.
"I will gather the lame, I will make the lame a remnant, The Lord is
righteous in all His ways, and loving toward all He has made" Micah

COLLINS
-In loving memory of George who passed away November 23, 2001.
God saw you were getting tired
When a cure was not to be.
So He closed His arms around you
And whispered, "Come to Me"
Your golden heart stopped beating,
Your gentle hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
In tears, we saw you sinking,
We watched you fade away
Our hearts were almost broken.
You fought so hard to stay.
What you suffered, you told few,
You didn't deserve what you went through.
Tired and helpless, you made no fuss,
And tried so hard to stay with us.
But when we saw you sleeping
So peacefully, free from pain.
We could not wish you back to suffer again.
- Always loved and remembered by Rona, sons Chris and James, daughter Alison and stepchildren and grandchildren.

COLLINS.
Count the snowflakes in a winter storm
And the stars up in the sky
Count the drops of dew at daybreak
And the birds that fly on high
Count the needles on a pine tree
And the fishes in the sea.
That's how many time you've been thought of
Throughout the year by me.
I miss you Dad!
Alison
