Lenna HORE, a resident of RR 2 Gore Bay, died at the Mindemoya
Hospital on Tuesday, October 15, 2002 at the age of 83 years.
She was born in Burpee Twp., daughter of the late Charles and Phamie
BAILEY)
BELL.
Lenna had been associated with the Jehovah's Witnesses: for many years.
She had worked in the Soo with her sister Pearl doing housework in 1936.
She returned home in 1937 when she met Charles
HORE, and they married July 6, 1938.
Lenna enjoyed making quilts, playing cards and bingo. She loved flower gardening
and country and bluegrass music. She also liked her home Bible studies with Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a kind and generous person, always putting the needs of others ahead of her own.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and Friends.

Margaret LEWIS, a resident of Manitoulin Lodge, Gore Bay, died at the Lodge
on Friday, July 19, 2002 at the age of 85.
She was born in Barrie Island, daughter of the late John and Mabel Edith
(GAMBLE)
CALBACK.
Margaret was a housewife and worked on the family farm all her life until she retired to
Gore Bay. She was a member of the Lyons Memorial United Church and was a
long-time volunteer at the Lodge. She also enjoyed knitting and a good game
of cards. Margaret was a social person who enjoyed helping and visiting
many people over the years.
