The family announces with sorrow Mary's death, Friday, February 1, 2002, at
the Manitoulin Health Centre in Little Current. Daughter of the late Nick

Mary was born and raised in Garson. Married Lloyd at the Saint
Andrews United Church in Sudbury on October 20, 1951. They lived in
Falconbridge and moved to their cottage on Lake Wahnapitae when Lloyd
retired and spent their winters at their home in Florida. As Mary's illness
progressed, they moved to Mindemoya to be closer to their daughter and family.
Mary resided at the Manitoulin Centennial Manor for the past two years. Mary
was able to celebrate her 50th anniversary at the Manor on October 20, 2001.
Lloyd would like to thank all the staff at the Centennial Manor and
Manitoulin Health Centre. Special thank you to the Victorian Order of Nurses and
Homecare. Without their care Mary would not have been able to stay in her home
for as long as she did.
