BENNEDSEN, Chris -- On Thursday, December 26, 2002. Loving husband of Connie. Brother of Sigvard and Ella (ANDERS) of Denmark. Brother-in-law of Colly and the late Perry CAVALLUZZO. Loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. Chris was a long time member of Order Sons of Italy of Canada and Thalassemia Foundation of Canada. Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Centre (50 Overlea Blvd., 416-423-1000) on Sunday from 2-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Tuesday, December 31, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Thalassemia Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.

CAVANAGH, Dianne J. -- Born June 1, 1934 to the late Herbert and Alma Brown of Scarborough, died Tuesday, November 12, 2002, in Toronto, after a long illness. Predeceased by her elder daughter, Maureen S., Dianne was mother of Patricia and mother-in-law of Matthew CHURCH; grandmother of Alice and Olivia; sister and sister-in-law of John BROWN (deceased,) Virginia ''Peach'' ROBERTSON, Norma SCARBOROUGH, Pat SKIPPON, Jeanelle SAVONA, Gloria BALDWIN, Bud BALDWIN, Charles BROWN (deceased), Murn BROWN, David BROWN, Maggie SIMMONS, Michael BROWN (deceased,) and Marigold ''Mal'' WILSON longtime friend of Ken CAVANAGH; daughter-in-law of the late Jack and Lorna CAVANAGH of Scarborough; sister-in-law of the late Joan FISHER (née CAVANAGH;) cousin, aunt and friend to many. The family will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (South of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday. Service in the chapel on Saturday afternoon at one o'clock followed by interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in Dianne's name, gifts to the Palliative Care Unit of Bridgepoint Health (formerly Riverdale Hospital), 14 St. Matthews Road, Toronto M4M 2B5, would be appreciated by her family in gratitude for the care she received there.

RICCIARDELLI, Giovanni Biase (John) -- On Sunday, November 17, 2002, Giovanni passed away at the McMaster University Hospital at the age of 82. Loving husband of Carmela (née CAVOTO) beloved father of Nick (Badri) and Ted RICCIARDELLI. Cherished nonno of Atyeh and Parisa. Brother of Antonio (Natalina) RICCIARDELLI, Mike (Natalina) RICCIARDELLI and Natalina (Antonio) COSTANZO. Predeceased by his sister Diodorina. Giovanni will fondly be remembered by his many nephews and nieces. Mr. RICCIARDELLI is resting at the Niagara-On-The-Lake Chapel of the Morgan Funeral Homes, 415 Regent St. where his family will receive Friends on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 8: 00 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church on Thursday morning at 11: 00 o'clock. Rite of committal will follow at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery.
