SMITH, Winnifred -- Peacefully on December 18, 2002 at York Central Hospital, in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her father Leonard LEACH/LEECH/LEITCH and mother Alice Jane LEACH/LEECH/LEITCH. Winnifred will be sadly missed by her two nieces Winnifred Mary KELLY and Barbara Lenore CAULTON. Winnifred will be greatly missed by her great nieces Charlene Mae KNUDSEN, Laurie Jane PETRUCCI and Mary Alice DEGROOTE. Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street (two blocks south of Steeles) on Sunday, December 22nd 2002 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, December 23rd 2002 at 1: 00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial to follow at Westminster Cemetery.

LONGHOUSE, John (Jack) -- Passed away, peacefully, after a brief illness, on Friday, December 27, 2002, at the Trillium Health Centre - Mississauga, at the age of 71 years. Beloved son of the late Gordon and Julia LONGHOUSE, of Woodbridge. Dear brother of Zelma STONEHOUSE (Jack), Phyllis CAULTON, Muriel BROWNLEE, Daniel (Carolyn,) Bill (June,) Bob (Ruth,) Edward, Doreen BRYSON (Arch), and friend Shelley. Jack will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and Friends. Cremation. Private Memorial Service will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Scott Funeral Home, ''Woodbridge Chapel''.

CAUNE, Elza -- In Alliston on Sunday, December 29, 2002. Elza, beloved wife of the late Janis. Loving mother of Gita and Vilnis EZERS, Elmars and Celine, Eduards and Camille, and Rasma CAUNE. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Pauls, Laura, Felikss, Anna-Chloe and Daniel. Remembered by other family members in Lativa. Friends may call at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home and Chapel, 467 Sherbourne Street, (south of Wellesley St.) on Thursday from 10: 30-11:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service in the Coach House Chapel of the funeral home on Thursday at 11: 30 a.m. Interment York Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Arthritis Society.
