Margaret Edith LEWIS
In loving memory of Margaret Edith LEWIS, September 1, 1916 to July 19, 2002.
Margaret LEWIS, a resident of Manitoulin Lodge, Gore Bay, died at the Lodge on Friday, July 19, 2002 at the age of 85.
She was born in Barrie Island, daughter of the late John and Mabel Edith (GAMBLE) CALBACK. Margaret was a housewife and worked on the family farm all her life until she retired to Gore Bay. She was a member of the Lyons Memorial United Church and was a long-time volunteer at the Lodge. She also enjoyed knitting and a good game of cards. Margaret was a social person who enjoyed helping and visiting many people over the years.
Dear and loving wife of the late Arden LEWIS who predeceased her in 1984. Dear mother of Ronald LEWIS and wife Nancy of Gore Bay, Marlene BURNS and husband Stewart of Gordon, Bill LEWIS and wife Gail of Espanola, Betty MASTERS of B.C., Maxine McLEOD and husband Jim of Ice Lake and Barbara ARMSTRONG and husband Scott of Gore Bay. Proud grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of 33. Predeceased by one grand_son Jeff LEWIS. Dear sister of Mary COBURN and John CALBACK both predeceased. Dear sister-in-law of Mary KERHANOVICH (friend Earl), Doreen GRANGER (George), Madeline HOLOWACK, Margaret C. LEWIS and Garth and Griffin. Predeceased by Bill LEWIS and George and Ina BREATHAT. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends called the Culgin Funeral Home on Sunday, July 21, 2002. The funeral service was conducted from the Wm. G. Turner Chapel of the Culgin
Funeral Home, on Monday July 22, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment followed in Long Bay Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Culgin Funeral Home.

Kimberley Ann MICHIE
Kimberley was taken tragically on Sunday, February 24, 2002 at the age of 30.
Kim will be forever cherished in the hearts of her three sons Jonathan, Joshua and Travis. Sadly missed also by parents Douglas and Deborah MICHIE and sister Kelly and her husband Doug CALDWELL. Dear granddaughter of Joyce and the late John MICHIE and Sydna and the late George COOPER. Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 27, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. at the Fawcett Funeral Homes, "Collingwood Chapel", 82 Pine Street, Collingwood. A funeral service was held in the chapel on Thursday, February 28, 2002.

James Frederick SLACK of Walford passed away at St. Joseph General Hospital in Elliot Lake on Wednesday December 4, 2002 in his 83rd year.
Beloved husband of June (née TRIE) of Walford. Dear son of the late Arthur and Harriet SLACK. Loving father of Laura (Mrs. Conrad CALDWELL) of Woodbridge and Arthur SLACK of Toronto. Stepfather to Kim (Mrs. Todd LECLAIR) and Mike WILSON both of Massey. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Tyler, Todd, Bruce, Denise, Dillyn, Ryan and Chanelle. Very dear brother of William SLACK of Hamilton, Mrs. Cora BULLOCH of Dundas and the late Bernard SLACK.
A family visitation was held on Friday, December 6 at the Walford Community Hall, Walford and was followed by a Memorial Service with Mr. Gary KESSEL officiating. Interment in the Walford Protestant Cemetery. Arrangements by Bourcier Funeral Home Ltd., Espanola

With great sadness, our family announces the passing of Marie BELLAMY on Wednesday, June 12, 2002 in the North York General Hospital at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Everett BELLAMY. Daughter of the late James CALDWELL and Mary Jane McVEIGH of Belfast, Northern Ireland. Predeceased by her daughter Lois PATERSON and granddaughter Cary PATERSON. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Grace of Vancouver, her son Leonard (Bertha) of Morrisburg, grand_sons Rodney PATERSON (Leslie,) Aaron WIGLEY of Toronto, Gary BELLAMY of Ottawa, granddaughters Cindy STEWARD/STEWART/STUART and Tracy BELLAMY of Toronto, and great-grandchildren Braden, Laurel, Sarah, Yvonne, David, Jacklyn and Kassandra. Also survived by her sister Margaret WOOD of Melbourne, Australia. Friends may visit at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Friday, June 14 from 2-4 or 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Orono Cemetery. Passed away peacefully, in her sleep, on Saturday, May 18, 2002. Survived by her loving husband Len of Madoc, children Diane DONLON of Madoc, Douglas DUCKWORTH and wife Marina, Deborah PAPPAS and husband Frank, and David DUCKWORTH, all of Toronto, three loving grand_sons Matthew, Mark, and William, all of Toronto, sister Ida FOREMAN, niece Judy CALDWELL and husband Dr. Tom CALDWELL and their children Chelsea and Josh, all of Vancouver, brother and sister-in-law Douglas and Rita DUCKWORTH and their children Michael and Lisa, all of Toronto, and in-laws Vera BYTAUTAS and William and Georgina PAPPAS, all of Toronto. Predeceased by her parents John and Ida BAXTER, and son-in-law Sergeant Ron DONLON, M.T.P. Cremation has taken place.
