Geraldine Wilma BRYAN
In loving memory of Geraldine Wilma BRYAN, August 28, 1922-April 18, 2002.
Geraldine (DEAN) BRYAN, a resident of the Manitoulin Lodge, Gore Bay, died at the Lodge on Thursday, April 18, 2002, at the age of 79 years. She was born in Tehkummah, daughter of the late Wilmer and Emma {HANER} McCAULEY. She had worked at the smelter in Sudbury during the war, and afterwards helped her husband Norman at his service station. Geraldine spent 50 years in Sudbury before returning to the Island, then lived for 2 years with Verlie and Robert, and 3 years in her own apartment, and lastly moved to the Lodge about 1 year ago. She enjoyed dancing in her earlier years, and reading and gardening. However, her life revolved around her family. Her greatest pleasure was looking after and being part of her families' lives. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her caring and interest in her family will be missed, but will be cherished forever.
Predeceased by her loving husband Norman Phillip BRYAN on February 1, 1993. Dearly loved and loving mother of Verlie and her husband Robert McGILLIS of Mindemoya proud grandmother of Tammy and her husband Cyle RITCHIE of Cambridge and Ginger McGILLIS of Sudbury and great grandchildren Brittany McGILLIS and Zachary RITCHIE. Dear sister of Gladys CHATWELL of Kitchener and sister-in-law Elaine McCAULEY of Tehkummah. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Gerald McCAULEY and sister Marie McCAULEY.
The funeral service was conducted at the Mindemoya United Church on Saturday, April 20, 2002 with Reverend Mary Jo ECKERT TRACY officiating. Interment in Mindemoya Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Culgin Funeral Home.

Annie PATTISON (HARPER) BRYANT
In loving memory of Annie PATTISON (HARPER) BRYANT who passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 17, 2002 at the age of 88 years.
Beloved wife of Neil BRYANT (predeceased April 15, 1996.)
Annie was born May 18/14 in New Waterford, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, daughter of the late Lily and James HARPER. Predeceased by brother William. Dear mother of Gladys MOORE (husband Albert predeceased 1997) of Manitowaning, Mervyn and wife Joan BRYANT of Wainfleet, Lily and husband Dave BUGG of Lively. She was the loving grandmother of Darlene, Christine, Jennifer, Jeffery, Jaclyn and Melissa. Dear great grandmother of Cassandra, Jordon, Megan and Brandon. Predeceased by two grandchildren Chris and Heather. Dear aunt of Corrine, Mae, Georgina, Nickie, Cathy, Jim, Brad, Brian, Billy, Jackie and Billie.
Annie met her husband Neil in Nova Scotia during the war. She left family and Friends for a new life working by her husband's side on their farm in Manitowaning. After Neil passed away, she filled her time with family and Friends. Annie loved being part of the four generations that traveled everywhere together. Her Friends were one of her greatest treasures in the last few years, she enjoyed going to the Friendship Club in Manitowaning and playing euchre or just spending Saturday going to yard sales with her friend Olive. Annie leaves a legacy of strength and strong family ties. She will be missed very much.
Visitation was held in Knox United Church Hall. The funeral service was held on Saturday, October 19, 2002 at Knox United Church in Manitowaning.
Followed by cremation with burial of ashes in Elm View Cemetery.
