Ruby Mae COULTIS
In loving memory of Ruby Mae
COULTIS a resident of Tehkummah and for
the last three years, Wikwemikong Nursing Home, at Wikwemikong
Nursing Home on Tuesday October 22, 2002 in her 95th year.
Ruby taught school for many years and helped run the family farm.
She was always very active in her community, serving on different
committees. She loved bingo and a good game of euchre. Ruby had
many talents, knitting, sewing, gardening, teaching, crocheting and
creating poetry are just a few. Many Friends and memories were made
throughout the years and many are captured, forever in her poetry.
Predeceased by her cherished husband Wilfred

service was held on October 26, 2002 both at Island Funeral Home,
Little Current with Pastor Wally Wood officiating. Burial in Hilly Grove cemetery.

WRIGHT, February 22, 1911 to November 4, 2002.
Bill WRIGHT, a resident of the Manitoulin Lodge, Gore Bay, died at
the Lodge on Monday, November 4, 2002 at the age of 91 years. He was
born in Mills Township,
son of the late Walter and Minerva
HORE)
WRIGHT, and had lived in Mills all his life, except for the years he
was overseas with the Royal Canadian Navy. He had been a resident of
the Lodge for about 2 years. Bill was a very active member of Branch
514 Royal Canadian Legion, participating in many events. He had farmed in Mills as
well as he had been a chef on the Great Lakes ships for many years,
and finished his chef's career at Northernaire Lodge. Bill was an
avid outdoorsman, and loved to hunt, fish, trap, camping with his
grandchildren and attending their ball games.
Predeceased by his wife Gwenyth. Loved father of Carol and husband

Debbie of Mills, Lorrie

Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 6, 2002 with Mr. Erwin Thompson officiating.
