Ellen ALBERT (née LOVELACE) of North Bay passed away peacefully at her residence on June 30, 2002 at the age of 53 years.
Daughter of the late Elmer LOVELACE (1970.) Cherished by her mother and step-father Christine and Marcel FORTIN of North Bay. Beloved mother of Stephen (wife Sandra) BAILEY of North Bay, Jennie ALBERT of North Bay and Ian ALBERT (friend Laura) of North Bay. Ellen will also be missed by her three grandchildren Curtis, Brandon and Ezekiel all of North Bay.
Dear sister of Norman (wife Laurie) LOVELACE of Little Current, Lloyd (wife Cathy) LOVELACE of Fort Frances and Vicki (husband Wayne) COLLINS of Marathon. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church in North Bay on Friday, July 5, 2002 from 12: 30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service to take place at the Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church in North Bay at 2: 00 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2002. Interment at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, North Bay.

Forrest BAILEY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 16, 2002 at the Civic Hospital in Peterborough, Ontario in his 70th year. He is predeceased by his parents Jim and Verna BAILEY. Proud father of Stephen. Survived by Allen (Linda), Marlene (Calvin BEST), Murray (Lorraine) and Gail (Myles PATTERSON).
According to his wishes, his cremains were interred in Mills Cemetery with his parents, in a private family gathering.

In loving memory of William "Bill" MIDDAUGH, November 27, 1916 to August 4, 2002.
William " Bill" George MIDDAUGH, a resident of Evansville Township, died at the Mindemoya Hospital, on Sunday, August 4, 2002 at the age of 85 years.
Bill was born in Mindemoya son of the late Ira and Margaret (CRAWFORD) MIDDAUGH.
Bill was the owner of the Evansville General Store for 23 years and a guide for a local tourist camp. Bill enjoyed time spent in his lavish garden and was an avid
hunter and fisherman. He was proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bill was a member of the Gore Bay Masonic Lodge #472. Loving husband of Lorma (GALBRAITH) MIDDAUGH of Evansville. Dear father of Garry and wife Judy MIDDAUGH, Marilyn and husband Glen WRIGHT all of Evansville, and Steven and wife Barbara Middaugh of Gore Bay. Loving grandfather of Tara and Jeff BAILEY, Becky and Tim GILMORE, Aaron WRIGHT and friend Tanya COX, Richard MIDDAUGH, Lori MIDDAUGH, great grandchildren Derek, Mallory, Trent and Tanner. One sister Mae BRETT of Gore Bay also survives as well as many nieces and nephews. Jim loved to hunt and fish.
Fiancé to Brenda BAILEY. He greatly loved his children Chantelle and James (mother Yvonne THADY) and step children Nicole, Evan and Ashley. Predeceased by parents Cleve and Lena BOWERMAN and sister Nancy. Remembered by sisters and brothers Joyce, Larry (Pauline), Philip (Julie), Roy, Barbara (Bryce), David (Lynn), Margaret, Joey (Beth), Robbie. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews, four great nieces and one great nephew. Special godfather of Katrina and Crystal. Visitation was held Friday, August 30. Funeral Service was held Saturday, August 31, 2002 at Grace Bible Church. Burial in Hilly Grove Cemetery in Manitowaning. Arrangements in care of Island Funeral Home.

Stella BAILEY, a resident of Evansville, died at the Manitoulin Health Center, Little Current on Friday September 6, 2002, at the age of 83 years. She was born in Evansville, daughter of the late David Norman BAILEY and Gertie BELL. She was a housewife and lived in Evansville all her life. Stella enjoyed her gardening and visiting and entertaining her many Friends. Her greatest joy was being with and doing things for her family. She also attended St. Andrews United Church in Elizabeth Bay. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Russell BAILEY (predeceased April 6, 1997). Dear and loving mother of Wayne and his wife Seija of Sudbury, and Ronald and his wife Marjorie also of Sudbury. Proud grandmother and great grandmother of Jeffrey and wife Tara, Evansville, Dennis and friend Chris, Chelmsford, Timothy and wife Lee Anne, Toronto, Stephen (wife Debbie predeceased) and wife Angela, Chelmsford and Michael of Canmore, Alberta, five great grandchildren Derek, Heather, Zackary (predeceased), Deanna and Mallory, five step great grandchildren Allan, Nicholas, Samantha, Nadia and Michael. In loving memory of Beulah (G. SLAGEL) BAILEY, January 30, 1915 to September 5, 2002.
Beulah BAILEY, a resident of Garson, died at Extendicare Falconbridge on Thursday, September 5, 2002 at the age of 87 years. She was born in Billings Township, daughter of the late Charles and Retta HARPER) SLAGEL. Beulah was a committed community worker and a member of the Seniors Group in Evansville. She was a housewife and helped her husband Arthur on the farm as well as his trap line. She enjoyed knitting afghans for the children, crafts, making quilts and had a great love for gardening. Beulah was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Beloved wife of Arthur Bailey (predeceased July 1983). Dearly loved and loving mother of Grace Baxter, husband Hugh, of Sault Ste. Marie, Weldon Bailey, friend Betty Miron, of Evansville and Jean Chisholm, friend Yves Chenier, of Garson. Proud grandmother of David Baxter, wife Carla, Barry Baxter, friend Carolyn, Bonnie, husband Patrick Louveuzo, Helen Jean (predeceased), Joan Bailey, friend Brent Wilson, Joyce, husband Mark Carrick, Arthur Bailey, friend Tanya, Kenneth Bailey, wife Kelly, Marilyn, husband Garry White, Julianne, husband John Horsfall, and Alfred Chisholm, wife Susan, 17 great grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. In loving memory of Lenna Rebecca HORE, June 13, 1919 - October 15, 2002
Lenna HORE, a resident of RR 2 Gore Bay, died at the Mindemoya Hospital on Tuesday, October 15, 2002 at the age of 83 years.
She was born in Burpee Twp., daughter of the late Charles and Phamie BAILEY) BELL.
Lenna had been associated with the Jehovah's Witnesses: for many years.
She had worked in the Soo with her sister Pearl doing housework in 1936.
She returned home in 1937 when she met Charles HORE, and they married July 6, 1938.
Lenna enjoyed making quilts, playing cards and bingo. She loved flower gardening and country and bluegrass music. She also liked her home Bible studies with Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a kind and generous person, always putting the needs of others ahead of her own.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and Friends.
Predeceased by her husband Charles Raymond HORE in 1984. Dear and loving mother of Doreen FOGAL (Alford) Gore Bay, Gary (Bev), Little Current, Lorraine BAILEY (Murray), Little Current, Zelda COBB, Whitecourt, Alta., Roger (Kathy), Barrie, Marilyn ARMSTRONG (Ron), Chatsworth, Morris (Bonnie,) Gore Bay, Blair, Gore Bay, Sharon WEPLER (Pete), Durham, Murray (Melody), Gore Bay, and Kevin of Markham.
Loving grandmother of 34 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Dear sister-in-law of Ethel PRIOR, Ellen LANDRY, Laurel HENDRICK, Darlene BARRY, Bill and Ruth HORE, Jack and Lydia HORE and Ted HORE.
Predeceased by brothers and sisters Gordon, Austin (Jack),
Reginald (Dade), Arnold (Bun), Pearl MORDEN, Mabel, Charlotte (Lot) PAISLEY, Lily MONTGOMERY and granddaughter Cheryl COBB.
Friends called at the Culgin Funeral Home after 7 pm on Wednesday October 16. The funeral service was conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel on Thursday, October 17, 2002 at 1: 00 pm with Mr. Eric NICHOLSON officiating.
Interment in Gordon Cemetery. Culgin Funeral Home.
